Story
Silver Lab 1yr 3 months old Tyson is a happy, friendly, and smart dog. He is extremely high energy and needs someone who has the experience and time to give him the training he needs. I have worked to the best of my ability to get him properly trained, but between a full time job and 2 young kids, it has become too much and it would be best for my family, and for Tyson, to find an owner who can dedicate more of their time to work with him. He came from a local breeder who does only Labs and I have all paperwork.

Story
Socks is a laid back guy who just wants to get outside for walks or runs. He’s pretty good about his leash manners, and will even wait patiently while you clean up after him and keep an eye out for anyone trying to sneak up on you. When it comes to dogs, he gets super excited to play with them, but might come on a little strong in his zeal. He poses patiently for photos and the photos end up turning out great because he is so handsome. We think he would do great in almost any home and would love to learn some more tricks and commands with his furever family!

Story
Max is about 1 1/2 years old, and he weighs just under 60 pounds. A typical black lab mix, Max is at that age where he is just full of energy. He loves to run in our play yard, and he loves to show off how he can sit and lay down for treats. Max loves to go for walks, but hold on tight - he is working on his leash walking skills! Max is a little timid around new people, especially men. Once he warms up, he's very friendly and affectionate, and looks to his trusted humans for reassurance. Max will do best in a home with no small children. He must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home to make sure they get along. Here at the shelter, Max seems to enjoy meeting other dogs and cats.

Story
Diesel is about 8 years old, and he weighs just under 40 pounds. He is an active dog who loves going for walks. Diesel also enjoys spending time in our play yard, and he knows how to sit and shake for treats. We think Diesel would do best in a home without small children or cats. Here at the shelter, Diesel has been very selective about his dog friends, so a meet and greet with any dogs in a potential new home is an absolute must. * Diesel has tested positive for Lyme disease, and is being treated with antibiotics. * Diesel qualifies for the shelter's Adult Companion Program, for adopters aged 50+

Thunder is 2 years old, and this big guy weighs just under 75 pounds. Thunder loves to run in our play yard, and to play tug with a rope toy. He knows how to sit and lay down for treats. Thunder is looking for a home without cats, and we think he'll do best in a home where the kids are older (12 and up recommended). Thunder must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home, to make sure they get along. * Thunder has tested positive for Lyme Disease, and is currently being treated with antibiotics

Story
Where's Waldo?  Waldo is with us at Seventh Heaven!  Waldo is a 5 month old male Lab mix puppy who we recently rescued from a rural Louisiana Shelter.  He is a typical puppy who loves to play with other dogs and humans alike!  He weighs in at approximately 43 lbs. and has proven himself to be a quick learner when it comes to regular routines.  He enjoys walks and plays well inside a fenced yard with other dogs.  He also enjoys some down time to take a nap.  He is very clean in his kennel as well.   Fortunately, Waldo is heartworm negative but still needs to be neutered.  If you think that Waldo would be perfect for you or your family, please fill out an adoption application.  We hope that when someone asks us "where's Waldo," we can answer that he is in his forever home!  Let's make Waldo's dream come true!  Waldo's adoption fee of $500.000 covers his veterinary care up to date of adoption including neutering, costs of foster care and transportation to New York.  Waldo has made his trip to NY May 13th. ##2378616##
