Meet Petunia, an easygoing, moderately energetic lab mix, aged between 3 and 5 years. With her sleek black coat and expressive “puppy dog” eyes, she’s sublimely sweet and supremely smart. Thriving on the constant companionship of her foster family, Petunia puts the “l” into loving and loyal, and loves nothing more than being by her people’s side. Famously fond of butt scratches and snuggles, she also loves walks, gets along well with her 3 doggy foster friends and does equally well with children. Clearly someone’s pet at one time, Petunia found herself abandoned in West Virginia and is now located in Michigan. Despite having a cleft lip, which only adds to her appeal, it neither limits her ability to eat dry dog food and drink perfectly well nor stifles her spirit for living life to the fullest. Preferring a home without cats, Petunia is fully housetrained, knows how to use a doggy door, and will bloom in a forever home that loves loving as much as she does. I originally adopted Ace from the Cleveland APL, I was afraid with him being a wild child and being mouthy and stuck in a kennel he might get deemed unadoptable. Due to losing my job and having to move into a smaller home I am unable to give him what he needs attention wise and financially. He is heart worm negative but due to having heart worm in the past he needs specific flea and tick preventions but that’s it! He loves to go on walks and play fetch, he also loves to snuggle in bed or on the couch. His stuffed ball is his absolute favorite, he is able to jump fences so he would need a tall fence or to be supervised while outside ! He enjoys playing with other dogs, but no small pets. He is good with kids 10 and older as they aren’t too small for him to knock down.

Hi, I’m Hank, and I’m a handsome yellow Lab with a sunny smile and a big soft heart. I’m 7 years old, 65 pounds, and I’ve reached that wonderful age where I still love a good adventure, but I also know how nice it is to settle in close for snuggles afterward. I’m potty trained, I walk nicely on a leash, and I would be very happy to be your sidekick for walks, yard time, and all the little everyday moments in between. I’m a Lab through and through, which means I love being outside and seeing what the world has to offer. I’m curious, active, and a bit clever too, so I’ll need a securely fenced yard if I’m outside, because I can get a little too confident about exploring. I’m not the kind of fellow who wants to be cooped up for long. Give me room to stretch my legs, people to love, and something fun to do, and I really shine. What you get in return is one very sweet, affectionate boy who’s ready to be loyal to the core. After I’ve had my fun, my favorite place is right there with my people, soaking up attention and giving that classic Lab devotion right back.
