Meet Petunia, an easygoing, moderately energetic lab mix, aged between 3 and 5 years. With her sleek black coat and expressive “puppy dog” eyes, she’s sublimely sweet and supremely smart. Thriving on the constant companionship of her foster family, Petunia puts the “l” into loving and loyal, and loves nothing more than being by her people’s side. Famously fond of butt scratches and snuggles, she also loves walks, gets along well with her 3 doggy foster friends and does equally well with children. Clearly someone’s pet at one time, Petunia found herself abandoned in West Virginia and is now located in Michigan. Despite having a cleft lip, which only adds to her appeal, it neither limits her ability to eat dry dog food and drink perfectly well nor stifles her spirit for living life to the fullest. Preferring a home without cats, Petunia is fully housetrained, knows how to use a doggy door, and will bloom in a forever home that loves loving as much as she does. You have the ability to give him the happy life he so deserves! Max hardly ever barks and is pretty polite about the incessant barking at the kennel where he’s been living. He walks well and enjoys every second of his time outside. You will love this dog, and I guarantee he will love a safe, comfortable home to call his own. At 5 years old, Max is the perfect age. She can be a bit jumpy because she is so excited around her humans. Sugar also gets along with other dogs here in our shelter. Vet Exam was good, but her coat may need a little TLC due to slight dander, it appears that she may have over done fun time and sprained her right front leg. Once that’s done, she’s smart and eager to please. 11 weeks old and already understand sit, just learned down, and working on potty training She needs a home, I work a lot of my day, my wife and step daughter wanted a puppy cause they stay home all day. We are now going through a divorce and my wife has given me the dog to rehome as she doesn’t want it (not due to dog itself but as an attack on me..) Rosie is such a good girl, I just want to find her a good home. Being in a crate 11 hours of the day, isn’t good for her… 0 fee, crate free, toys and food free, treats free… etc.

I have a Farm Animal Sanctuary, opened in memory, honor, and legacy of my wife, who is it was her lifelong dream to have a Farm to take in rescued animals from abuse, cruelty, abandonment, etc, and give them a safe, loving,and caring home for the rest of their lives. Sadly, she was diagnosed with late stage cancer about 6-weeks before seeing her dream come true with getting her first animals onsite at the Farm we bought and moved back to Ohio for. Her focus was to specialize on small to mid-size farm animals, believing that there's already lots of rescues/sanctuaries for horses, dogs, cats, etc. That said, I took in Sammi when I got a phone call from a family looking for a home/sanctuary for him, who lived with their 80+ year old war veteran Father on a 10-acre Farm due to failing health issues, so they needed to move their Father off the Farm and into assited living. When they found my website, they thought it might be an easier adjustment for Sammi to move to another Farm.
