Story
Luna is a very new and VERY cute face here at FDHS! This little Lab mix puppy recently arrived with a few of her buddies as a transfer from a much larger, very overcrowded shelter, and she is ready to make the most of her fresh start!Luna is basically sunshine and rainbows with four paws. She is the happiest little girl who absolutely LOVES everyone she meets. Her tail is pretty much in permanent wiggle mode, and she's always ready to hand out kisses to anyone willing to accept them. And if the nonstop tail wags and puppy kisses don't win you over, that adorable little smile certainly will! And true to her Lab roots, Luna is absolutely OBSESSED with water! Give this girl a pool, a sprinkler, or a nice puddle to splash around in and she's in puppy paradise. She is all puppy, all playtime, and all-around FUN.Like any young pup, Luna will need a family that's ready to help guide her, teach her, and help her grow into the very best girl she can be. She's got the sunshine personality and plenty of puppy silliness to share. Now she just needs her forever family!Luna is officially ready to start accepting adoption applications. **Scheduled to be spayed, scheduled to be microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 35 lbs**

Great dog, but does not do well with our small child, considers him a play toy and the child is frightened of him. Would like to see him go to a home without small kids, he does well with our older teens.Hes a Black Lab with papers, we have had him for a year, he is house broken but does like to grab shoes etc. We have had him on a perimeter fence so hes allowed to roam outside so not sure on leash training. High energy, loves snacks. Will come with crate, 50 lbs of food, treats, toys etc. He is well loved and treated very good but we can't get our youngest over him .

Story
Meet Daisy 🌼This sweet, powdered doughnut faced older lady is Daisy. We estimate her to be about 8 years old and to be a labrador retriever mix of sorts. She came in as a stray that was unfortunately never reclaimed, so we have no clue what her life was like prior to coming here. That said, one thing is for sure: she’s a sweetheart of a dog who deserves to have a comfy place to call her retirement home. Now listen, she’s still got a bit of that stubborn, never-want-to-slow-down labrador energy, but her equivalent of zoomies is basically having a short burst of speed with a toy and then coming and plopping right back down in a warm spot in the yard or a comfy couch. If you’re wanting a dog who will join you on a hike but also be a couch potato with you while you’re binging your favorite TV show, Daisy here would be a perfect fit. Daisy has done well with everyone she has met. Obviously she does well with all humans she has met. Other dogs? She tends to mind her own business and not really pay them much mind. Typical old lady dog behavior. Same with cats, she doesn’t give them the time of day. She’s a sweet old gal who simply just wants a comfy place to lay down and call her own - and she’s happy to share that space and all the love she gets with anyone else. She’s a lovely gal who will fit right into any sort of dynamic or family. She just wants one to call hers. 🐾
