Story
We are looking for a new home for our Benji. He's been with us for five years and has been a faithful companion. Unfortunately we travel a lot and it's been challenging to arrange for his care while were away. We also have a baby and it's been challenging to give him the attention he needs. We're hoping to find him a new home with a loving family!

Story
Marie is a sweet, purebred black Labrador Retriever and a good family dog. She plays well with children and has always behaved well with other dogs. She is just over a year old and has her AKC paperwork from the breeder if you would like to register her. She is not spayed, and we had intended her to be the start of generations of family dogs. Marie is on the smaller side for a full-sized lab, despite having an appetite, but well-proportioned. She still has puppy energy, but is trained to sit and listens well. She is from Alaska, where we were stationed in the military. The breeder and another family who watched her for a few months during the move used doggy doors, which is common there, and she learned to go outside whenever the spirit moved her. Unfortunately, when she does not have that ability, she tends to poop in the house. We are looking for someone with the space and home layout to provide her more freedom than we are able.

Story
Weight: 105Lbs Meet Galaxy 🌌 — a 105-lb Lab mix who spent her life giving, but never getting. Galaxy is severely overweight, not from love or treats, but from years as a breeder release, where her body was used and her world was small. She never learned what walks were for, what toys were, or that a home could be kind. Still, somehow, she came out extraordinarily sweet, gentle, and desperate to be close to people. She is not potty trained, simply because no one ever taught her. No couch, no routine, no second chances — until now. Galaxy is standing at the very beginning of life for the first time. First walks. First toys. First soft bed. First time being someone’s whole heart instead of a job. She’s starting a slow, healthy weight-loss journey, but what she needs most is a family willing to show her patience, grace, and love. Galaxy is ready to experience every first she was denied — with you. 💔❤️ Dogs: Unknown, we recommend bringing all pups in to get to know me! Cats; Unknown Kids: Unknown, please bring all family members in to meet me!

Story
Weight: 33Lbs Meet Gus — a golden retriever pup with a tender heart and a story that deserves a softer ending. He arrived in early August 2025 from Kokomo Humane Society, hopeful and ready to belong, but after being adopted, Gus was trained with a shock collar. Instead of learning confidence, he learned fear. For a sensitive soul like Gus, that kind of training can make the world feel unpredictable and unsafe, and he’s still unlearning those lessons at his own pace. Gus needs stability, patience, and positive reinforcement only — gentle guidance is where he shines. He does resource guard, so in a home with other animals he’ll need to eat separately, and it’s important that kids don’t grab at his food or toys. These simple boundaries help Gus relax and feel secure. Now for the good stuff: when food isn’t in the picture and once he knows you’re safe, Gus transforms into the sweetest, goofiest golden boy. He’s playful, affectionate, and a little treat-motivated (okay, maybe more than a little), which makes training a fun bonding adventure. Gus isn’t asking for perfection — just someone willing to go slow, laugh with him, and show him that love doesn’t hurt. 💛 Dogs: Please bring any pups in to meet him, and keep the resource guarding in mind!! Cats: Unknown Kids: Please bring the whole family in to meet him, and keep the resource guarding in mind!!

Story
Weight: 37Lbs Meet Khalia — a super sweet Lab mix with a heart full of love, legs full of energy, and a strong belief that the world is meant to be explored immediately. She is wildly affectionate, deeply devoted to her people, and always ready for pets, cuddles, and enthusiastic greetings. Khalia loves attention so much that she will happily accept it from anyone, which is why she is officially classified as a flight risk—not because she wants to leave you, but because she assumes every new adventure comes with bonus affection. Secure doors, leashes, and fences are a must; this girl is fast, curious, and very confident in her cardio abilities. She’s energetic, playful, and thrives on activity, whether that’s walks, zoomies, or dramatically trotting around like she’s late for something important. When she’s not on the move, she’s all about closeness and will gladly remind you that your hands are free and should be petting her. In short: Khalia is a lovable, high-energy sweetheart who runs on affection, enthusiasm, and the assumption that every open space is an invitation. Keep her close—and she’ll keep your life joyful, active, and never boring. Dogs: Unknown, we recommend bringing all pups to get to know this sweet gal! Cats: Unknown Kids: Unknown, we recommend bringing all family members in to get to know this sweet gal!!
