This darling girl is still learning about the world around her, but she’s showing us more of her wonderful personality each day.Carly can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take long for her sweet nature to shine through. She absolutely adores children and lights up when she’s around them, making her a lovely candidate for most families. She has also previously lived with other animals and would likely do well sharing her home with furry siblings.Like many young dogs, Carly is still working on her leash manners and building confidence in new situations. With patience, encouragement, and plenty of love - we know this girl is going to blossom into the best pup!As a Doodle, Carly’s beautiful curls will require regular grooming appointments and routine brushing at home to keep her coat healthy, comfortable, and looking its best.Carly has so much love to give and is ready to find a family to call her very own. That little song tells you everything you need to know about Happy.This 4 year old Weimaraner/Lab mix recently came to FDHS in search of a fresh start, but you would never guess he’s had a rough patch. Happy greets every day with a huge grin, a wagging tail, and enough enthusiasm to light up the whole shelter.He loves people, enjoys exploring outside, keeps a pretty clean kennel, and seems like a very smart boy. Happy is SUPER strong on leash and will need someone willing to help him polish up his walking manners, but his zest for life is impossible not to love.We were told Happy can be selective with other dogs, though we are hopeful that once he is neutered he may be more open to making canine friends. We have not yet tested him with cats. Happy is also recovering from severe flea dermatitis and is still growing back some of the fur he lost. With time, love, and proper care, he’ll be looking and feeling better than ever.Happy is officially accepting adoption applications at FDHS!**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. She is willing to give you her heart and trust if you will return that to her. She will need help with house training. She has been fine with children and some other dogs. She prefers male dogs. We are unsure about cats . She is up to date on shots and wormed. She is already spayed. The adoption fee is $300.
