Story
THIS IS A VERY CHALLENGING DOG. We do not know the full breed, we do know he is part Lab, he was a rescue approximately 3-4 years ago. He is very friendly to people once he gets to know you but very shy and nervous around strangers. He barks ... a lot... has nipped at unfamiliar children before, never bitten down. He recently began attacking our other dog during feeding times forcing us to separate them. He pees whenever someone tries to touch him. When someone new comes into the home he barks and pees, becomes terrified and does not listen, when attempting to grab him to move outside he pees more and defecates. This has made having him in our home untenable. We have tried multiple trainers without success. It can be very difficult to have guests or have any of our kids friends over. Ultimately we have tried for close to 4 years and can no longer care for him. This is a last resort before euthanasia.

Story
This is Freya! She’s a wonderful dog, but has too much energy for our growing family. We have had her for about a year, but have another kiddo on the way. Freya is loyal, loves to play and needs pets, is EXCELLENT with kids, and has an appetite for life! She would be a great hiking dog, but needs more leash training - she is a country dog. Freya is a wonderful companion to someone or a small family in need. Our household is literally just too small to keep her! We hate to see her go, but we will make absolute sure that she goes to a loving home. All adoption fees will be donated to the new local shelter in Logan county, Ohio. She’s house trained, up to date on shots, and ready to become someone’s best friend. She deserves a home where she can get the time, attention, and love she gives so easily.

Story
Bella is a beautiful female black Lab with a heart as big as her soulful eyes. She didn’t have the easiest start—Bella was found living in a ditch under a highway before being rescued—but she’s proven just how resilient and loving she can be. Now safe and cared for, she’s ready to leave her past behind and start a brand-new chapter with a family of her own. True to her Lab nature, Bella is sweet, gentle, and eager for affection. She soaks up kindness and enjoys being around people, showing her gratitude with tail wags and loyal companionship. While we’re still getting to know all of her favorite things, it’s clear that Bella is happiest when she feels safe, loved, and included. Bella is looking for a forever home where she’ll be cherished and never forgotten again. If you’re searching for a devoted friend who will reward your love tenfold, Bella may be the perfect match for you. 💛 She is also spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm preventative.
