Story
Callie is a 4-year-4-month old Chocolate Labrador weighing 80 pounds. Callie can be cautious and anxious with strangers but with time and treats she'll warm up and let her curiosity take over! She will require multiple visits to be able to warm up to potential adopters. She is a very affectionate dog once she is comfortable, loves cuddles and hugs. She'll stick to her person like velcro! Knows commands sit, shake and sit pretty. Treat motivated. She is very well mannered (unless she's at the veterinarian office). Her favorite thing to do is go on walks and to roll in the grass. Housebroken. Good with children over 5, other dogs and cats. Callie has a history of skin infections, treated with prescription Cephalexin and special diet of Purina One Sensitive Skin & Coat. Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and microchipped. Story
This handsome boy is Aero!Aero originally came to us earlier this summer as a stray with little information on his background or where he came from before. After just a few short weeks of hanging out in our kennels, he was adopted out.Aero was in his adopted home for about a month before he was returned after not working out. This blue-eyed boy has a very sweet demeanor and has been very easy for our staff and volunteers to handle. He can be a little strong on leash and tends to do better when being walked in a harness or harness lead. Aero is happiest when he's getting one-on-one time with his humans or taking a snooze in a sunny area. He does really well about keeping a clean space and we were told he did excellent in the home with house-training. Aero's a smart boy who's eager to please! As for other animals, we do not know if Aero has ever been around cats or small animals. He can be a little reactive with some of the more high-strung dogs here at the shelter so he will need slower introductions to calmer dogs outside of a shelter environment. Aero has such a bright future ahead of him! Won't you give our blue baby the forever home he desperately deserves?**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and UTD on vaccines & monthly prevention**

Story
Everyone likes a cute blonde boy! Meet Mr. Hogan!Hogan came to us about a month ago as a stray. He was found hanging around the house of a lady dog and was just looking for love. Hogan was brought to the shelter and was never reclaimed so he's been looking for someone else to love him forever. He is a VERY sweet boy and all of our kennel attendants are completely goo-goo eyed over him. Hogan is famous for his hugs and friendly face kisses! He just loves to love. We think he'd do well with most people as long as he has a little time to warm up. When it comes to other animals, we're still figuring out who Hogan would be happiest with. He seems interested in befriending the calmer female dogs, sometimes the shelter boys tend to get him riled up. But we think with proper introductions, Hogan could potentially be friends with most dogs. Although we do not have a fair way to cat-test dogs at the shelter, we were told he didn't seem too keen on them at the house he was found at. Hogan typically keeps a clean kennel, leading us to believe he's likely house-broken and ready to move in. He does great when he's out playing in a fenced area but a leash and tie-out still make him very uneasy. Hogan will need lots of practice and patience before he's an every day walking buddy. Hogan is suuuuch a good boy and we are confident he's going to make someone a super great best friend!**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and UTD on vaccines & monthly prevention. He weighs about 50 lbs**

Story
Introducing Vader!Vader is one of our longer-term residents and has been gracing us with his presence since the very beginning of March. He has watched countless other dogs come and go, patiently waiting for it to be HIS turn! This stocky little Lab mix came to us as a repeat offender of running at large. Back in the day Vader was always out running around and causing minor mayhem. After a pretty nasty leg injury on his last joyride, Vader found himself here and has been with us every day since. We can't quite figure out why Vader is still with us, he really is a great dog! Although he can come across as aloof and uninterested, once you break past that exterior he is the most sweet, goofy and loving little fellow. Vader lived in a home with another dog and even got to have a slumber party with a smaller dog at a house! He can be adaptable with most canine companions with the right introduction. Vader does NOT do well with cats or other small animals.Fun fact! Vader LOVES to wear sweaters! Not only is this great for the cold weather, he looks absolutely adorable. If you're needing a pup to wear matching ugly Christmas sweaters with- he would be a great candidate! With the holidays quickly approaching, instead of going out and purchasing a new puppy, consider bringing this gentleman home and making him a part of your family.**Neutered, microchipped, and UTD on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs approximately 53 pounds**

Story
Introducing Kenny, the delightful lab mixed breed in search of his forever love! Kenny arrived at our shelter as a stray with limited background information.Kenny is a people-oriented pup, and he’s proven to be a wonderful companion when it comes to meeting new human friends. He’s always ready to shower those he meets with the most heartwarming kisses. However, when it comes to other dogs, he can be a bit reactive, so gradual introductions are essential. As for cats and small animals, we’re unsure of his compatibility, so a cautious approach is warranted. This youthful and energetic fellow is the perfect fit for an active owner or family. Whether it’s taking long walks or enjoying playful romps in a fenced yard, Kenny is up for any adventure. He’s a strong walker, and using a harness can make your outings even more enjoyable.Kenny’s zest for life and his affectionate spirit make him an ideal companion for anyone seeking a loyal and lively furry friend. If you’re ready to provide love, exercise, and an abundance of kisses, Kenny is eager to become your devoted partner. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to welcome this lovable boy into your life – he’s prepared to fill your days with joy and excitement.**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and UTD on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs approximately 55 pounds**
