He is still gaining confidence and can be scared of new things, especially loud noises, but once he feels safe he settles in nicely. When he gets excited he can be a little jumpy, though most of the time he is calm and easygoing. King truly enjoys running around the yard, going on walks, and soaking up outdoor time. He has a playful side and loves playing fetch with frisbees and balls. Tug of war is another favorite game, and he is a big fan of chew time. Knuckle bones, hard chew toys for power chewers, and anything he can safely gnaw on make him very happy. King is crate trained and house trained, which makes him an easy addition to a home. King does have a prey drive and enjoys chasing squirrels and frogs, and he will chase cats, so a cat free home is recommended. He also has a sensitive stomach and does best on sensitive stomach dog food. Hello, I`m Luna! I`m about 6 years old and weigh roughly 72 pounds.** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I came into the shelter with another dog and have been friendly with larger dog. I do not like smaller dogs. I would like to meet any potentially doggie family members before going home with them.Cats? I have a prey drive and need a kitty freehome.Kids? I have grown up with kiddos and while high energy would be friendly with kids of any age.Anything else you`d like us to know, Luna? I have primarily lived in someone backyard and am looking for a family who wants to welcome me into their actual home. I lack some basic manners but am VERY food motivated and willing to learn. Need experienced dog owner! Adopted him from a shelter near California when he was 2.5 yrs. (Now 6 yrs) It was very clear he was abused as a puppy he would flinch at sudden movements. He is particularly cautious of men. And will growl at them until he gets comfortable. He does good around our cats as he is used to them I do not know how he will do meeting new cats. Commands, sit, stay, lay down, shake and easy (taking treats from your hand). He is very sweet most of the time but unpredictable. He has been around 4 kids his entire time with us. He does well and is OVERLY protective of them. To a fault, he has lunged at multiple people for being too close to his kids. He has never bitten a human in our experience but has fought with other dogs, to the point of having to pull them apart. We are having another baby and worry with having him in the house with a baby. He loves to play, loves the outdoors and loves water. He has so much potential for the right owners!

These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve.
