His ears are truly his signature feature, especially when he walks fast and they fold back like tiny capes fluttering behind him. Dobby loves everyone he meets and seems to prefer being near his humans above all else. He is gentle with children and has spent time with tweens and teens, and while he hasn’t been around toddlers yet, he has such a calm and kind nature that he would likely do well. Dobby is house trained and working on crate training. He will go in when coaxed with a treat and stays calmly in his crate when left alone for a few hours. He enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who play gently, and has been around dogs in the 30 to 60 pound range. He hasn’t been tested with cats or other animals yet. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve.
