Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.About Daniel Daniel is a big who loves to lay around and would like to be in a home where he is the only dog. He would thrive with someone who will be patient and kind, showing him how they want him to behave and respond, as he is a little unsure of his place in the world.  He has grown into a beautiful boy! Interactions with Other Animals He is an absolute sweetheart, though he finds strange dogs to be scary and may bark and growl at them if they get too close. With proper socialization, over time, we feel this is probably something he can overcome. Origin Story This boy and his five siblings were the product of a surprise litter. The owners are housing them as we try to find their forever homes, but it is hard on them to have this many large babies at once. His mother looks to be a boxer mix and dad appears to be a lab mix - this is just our best guess! Story
"Dogs bring love and joy to our lives." This reminds us of Drogo and Slay! Why we love them: These brothers are so friendly, smart and fun! Drogo and Slay are striking black Lab mixes with strong names, big hearts, and a touch of Game of Thrones flair. Named after fierce warriors from the series, these boys are every bit as strong, loyal, and full of noble character as their names suggest. They are 18 months old. Drogo weighs 73 pounds and Slay weighs 78 pounds. Drogo and Slay don’t do well with other dogs. They are more than ready to find their own loyal humans and settle into a home where they can shine. Drogo is the strong, silent type. He’s got a regal presence and a deep, soulful gaze that says he’s seen it all — but he’s always happy to lean into a good ear scratch or bound after a ball. Drogo is an energetic companion on daily walks and loves his time in the fenced yard. Slay is clever, curious, and full of personality. He lives up to his name with his confident energy, but he’s also incredibly sweet once he knows he can trust you. Slay loves long walks, outings in the fenced yard and playing with the toys. Both dogs are: • Smart, loyal, and friendly with people • Not compatible with other dogs or small animals • Best suited for adult-only homes or homes with older children • Looking for strong (they’re big boys!), experienced adopters who can give them structure, love, and plenty of time outdoors. If you’re looking for a devoted, one-and-only canine companion — Drogo or Slay could be your perfect match. Come meet them and see which one speaks to your heart. We are so grateful to Joel Alexander for his beautiful photos of our dogs. E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information! Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. "Dogs bring love and joy to our lives." This reminds us of Drogo and Slay!
