Meet Sinbad! Hey guys, my name is Sinbad! Although, my friends call me Sinny Binny or Stinky Boy. I am a labrador retriever mix, and I weigh in at about 65lbs. I don't remember my exact birthday, but my friends at the shelter helped me pick a new one, 03/31/2021. I've been here at the shelter for a while now, since the begining of 2022, but I just haven't found the right home yet. You see, when I came to the shelter, I had lots of scars on my legs that my new friends wanted to know about. Let's just say my life before this wasn't very nice, so it was really hard for me to trust these new people. They were very patient with me, they gave me lots of treats and reassurance, and I realized that not all people would treat me like I used to be. In fact, I actually really like making friends now! One of my favorite things to do is to run around and play in our play yards, chasing toys and enjoying the sunshine with all kinds of people to keep me company. Some of my absolute favorite things are yummy treats, and a nice rubber ball (bonus points if it squeaks). I love having my ball so much, sometimes I carry it around all day long. I enjoy spending time with other dogs, but I'd be just as happy to have my people all to myself. Of course, if you do already have any dogs at home, I would definitely need to meet them before I agreed to live with them. I'm not a fan of cats, so a home without is best. Even though my shelter friends have shown me how great people can be to me, I can still sometimes be a little bit shy when I meet brand-new people, so be a little patient with me. He came to us after he and some friends had spent time roaming around a local park and playing with the campers, when Animal Control caught up with them and brought them to our care. Ray Ray was a little worse for wear, he had some bumps and bruises to show his life on his own, but quickly he showed us what a silly and playful boy he is! Meet Prince! Prince is a handsome and well loves black Labrador retriever mix with an estimated birthday of 03/02/2014. Prince is our longest resident at the shelter, having been with us since early 2021. When he originally came in, he was skin and bones, and torn to shreds with wounds. Not only this, but he was heartworm positive. He spent several months recovering and going through treatment before becoming available later that year. Whether due to his age or “black dog syndrome” he has been overlooked time and time again. He is a staff favorite, none of us can resist giving him love whenever we walk by him. The benefit of him being with us for so long is that we have had more time than any to learn all the little things that make him “Prince”. Prince absolutely loves tennis balls, and will still play fetch with the younger crowd without breaking a sweat. When it’s time to come inside his kennel for the night, you bet he won’t go in until you give him his nightly pets and lovin’s. He makes friends with other dogs like he was born to do it, and hasn’t greeted one without a wagging tail in as long as we can remember. Prince absolutely loves to go on walks and hikes, and has gone on many park trips with staff and volunteers. He has no hesitations about getting his paws wet in a creek or a pup pool, either. If we HAD to give him a flaw, it’s that he has it out for cats. This fella does NOT want a cat around his home, he prefers his companions to bark instead of meow. Upon adoption, Prince will also require a year supply of our heartworm prevention for us to ensure he will not go through heartworms again. WOW, is Bailey a special girl! Smart as a whip! Bailey loves to play and loves to cuddle. Baily is looking for an active family that she can play with. She says she's not hyper because her favorite thing is sitting with her human and watching TV. Bailey is great with other dogs and would do really well with a playmate but it is not necessary that there be one already in the home. Bailey has not been cat tested but her fosters believe that she would want to chase after them if she saw one so best be sure to have a meet and greet first. Also, our adoption agency will have to put into effect a no children under the age of 13 rule. Bailey can sometimes growl if someone is doing something to her that she doesn't like. There has been no bitting and her fosters are working on this behavior.

Curly looks forward to outings in the fenced yard where he zooms around and has the best time! He also loves to splash around in the doggy pool. Long legged Curly is so agile and athletic! Curly also loves playing with the toys. Once he is finished, he likes to just chill out and have quality cuddle time.
