Updated 19Jul25 **🐾 Meet Bell – The Calm Companion!** 🌼 Status: Available for adoption or foster (serious inquiries only!) ***Background*** Bell has spent her entire life in a loving family home, and her surrender to Memphis Animal Services was a big change. She was raised in a nurturing environment until circumstances led to her surrender. Rescued just moments before euthanasia, Bell is now ready for a second chance. **Personality** Bell is the easygoing and calm presence everyone needs. She enjoys taking in her surroundings quietly, preferring to relax rather than bark. Gentle and affectionate, Bell loves simple pleasures like belly rubs and quiet companionship. Like Tyson, she could shed a few pounds to feel even better, but she still has plenty of love to give. **Ready for Her Forever Family!** Bell needs a calm, patient home where she can continue to feel safe and secure. She’ll thrive in a peaceful environment, enjoying her golden years in comfort. If you're interested in welcoming Bell into your heart and home, please reach out!

Updated 12Nov25 🐾 Pepper ❤️ About Pepper: Meet Pepper — a loyal, loving girl who’s ready to find her forever family. From sleeping in bed and curling up by the fire to lounging around the house, Pepper has known love and comfort, and she’s hoping her next home will give her the same. Pepper is smart, potty-trained, and knows her basic commands. She loves her people deeply and forms strong bonds. Around strangers, she can be protective until she feels safe, but once you’re in her circle, she’s all heart. ❤️ Personality & Behavior: Pepper enjoys spending time with other dogs and even gets along with cats. She loves her playtime at doggy daycare but prefers smaller groups since too much chaos can overwhelm her. She’d do best in a calm, low-traffic home — ideally with adults who appreciate a steady companion rather than a social butterfly. What She Loves: • Lamb’s ear chews 🦴 • Occasional wet food “treat nights” 🍽️ • Long, slow stretches and sunny naps ☀️ • Staying dry — she’s not a fan of wet grass on her paws! 🐾 Ideal Home: Pepper would thrive in a quieter environment with patient, loving adopters who value routine and calm energy. She’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and devoted — the kind of companion who will follow your lead, keep you company, and love you unconditionally.

Updated 19Jul25 **🐾 Meet Tyson !** 💖 Status: Available for adoption or foster (serious inquiries only!) ***Background*** Tyson spent his entire life in a loving family home, so being surrendered to Memphis Animal Services was a significant shift for him. He was used to companionship and love until circumstances, including financial hardship, led to his surrender. Just moments before being euthanized, Tyson was rescued, given a second chance at life. **Personality** Tyson is a gentle and reserved senior. He’s independent and a bit cautious when meeting new people, but once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal and affectionate. Tyson enjoys lounging around, watching the world go by, and playing with toys, especially during quiet moments. He could benefit from losing a few pounds to help him feel more comfortable and active. **Ready for His Forever Family!** Tyson needs a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and secure. He’ll thrive in a peaceful environment, enjoying his golden years in comfort. If you're interested in giving Tyson a loving forever home, please reach out!

Updated 2Jan26 Name: Ranger Age: ~6 months Sex: Male Weight: ~40 lbs Breed: Lab mix (suspected) About Ranger Hi. Hello. Yes. I am Ranger — a 6-month-old lab mix with a cast, a dramatic origin story, and a very bright future. I was found abandoned on the highway after being hit by a car (0/10 experience, do not recommend), but I’m now safe, healing, and under excellent veterinary care. My broken leg is currently casted, follow-up X-rays are scheduled, and my prognosis is good. Best news? All medical care related to my leg is fully covered. I do need regular cast changes while I heal, which just means a few extra vet visits. Personality Ranger weighs about 40 lbs and is expected to grow into a solid, handsome lab-type boy. He is extremely sweet, gentle, and very people-oriented. He specializes in cuddling, shadowing his favorite humans, and making personal space feel optional. He does have some separation anxiety, which is completely understandable after trauma and abandonment, but he is already improving with routine, reassurance, and consistency and just wants to know his people are nearby. Medical & Care Ranger is healing from a broken leg and currently has a cast in place. All medical care for his leg is covered. The not-so-smart cast caused a mild skin infection, so Ranger is currently taking some yucky pills and getting a cream treatment (he is being very brave about it). He will need activity restrictions while his leg heals, which has made him a surprisingly calm puppy who is very good at resting and snuggling. Ideal Home Ranger would do best in a calm, patient home that can help him finish his recovery. A foster, foster-to-adopt, or adopter willing to support his healing journey would be ideal. Ranger promises he is a very good dog and will be a perfect addition to any home — cast, pills, cream, and all. 🐾💙
