Story
Baker was adopted from the mennonite bakery Backermanns in Whiteville, TN. He is 50% lab. We do not have as much time to play with him now that we have a baby. We also don’t have a fenced in yard to let him run. He is a very active dog with lots of energy to play. He is good with other animals and children. Just unfortunately do not have time to give him the attention he needs and deserves.

Updated 01May25 **Meet Minnie** *About Minnie* Meet Minnie, the fabulous sister of Mollie! Currently in a cozy foster home, Minnie is the dominant one in their dynamic duo. While she loves her time with Mollie, she's also ready to find her own forever home-think of it as the ultimate sibling adventure! With her irresistible charm and playful demeanor, Minnie is here to steal your heart and ensure you have a smile on your face every day. *Training* Minnie is both crate trained and house trained, but she is very strong and has no manners-especially when it comes to jumping up! She's eager to learn, but consistent training will be essential to teach her how to greet people politely. With a little dedication and patience, she'll become the well-mannered companion you've always dreamed of! *Favorite Activities* Minnie loves to engage in playful antics with her sister Mollie, whether it's a game of chase or tug-of-war. She's also a fan of belly rubs and snuggles, so be prepared for her to curl up next to you in search of affection! And if there's a toy to be found, Minnie will be right there, ready to claim it as her own. *Ideal Home* Minnie would thrive in a loving family that can appreciate her sassy personality and give her the attention she craves. Her strong nature and jumping behavior make her better suited for families with older children who can handle her playful energy. If you have other pets, a proper introduction is always a good idea to ensure everyone gets along. *Foster Information* If you're ready for a delightful dose of love, laughter, and a sprinkle of sass, apply to be a foster family for Minnie! She's eager to bring joy, snuggles, and a few playful surprises into your life as she embarks on her quest for her forever home. --- Let me know if you need any further changes or additional details for Minnie's profile!

Story
Updated: 25JAN25 **Meet Lucas - The Handsome Furry Energizer Bunny! ** *Personality* Lucas is like a furry tornado of energy! If you're looking for a couch potato, keep scrolling-this guy thinks "nap time is a myth. He's convinced he's part kangaroo, and you'll often find him bouncing around like he's had one too many cups of coffee. Fetch? More like "Let's play until I drop! He's the kind of dog that could power a small city with his enthusiasm-and did we mention he's handsome too? *Origin Story* Lucas's journey hasn't always been easy. He was given away by someone who didn't fully commit to him, but now he's ready to find a forever home with a family that will cherish him for life. He's all about loyalty and love, and he's eager to share his boundless energy with the right people! *Compatibility* Lucas is a social butterfly at adoption events, charming everyone with his goofy antics and irresistible charm. He's great with kids and loves to engage with them. However, he can be a bit sensitive around male strangers who startle him, so a gentle introduction is key. He's always ready to make new friends, both human and furry. And cats? Oh, he's cool with them-he won't chase unless they decide to play hide and seek. Just a heads up: if your cat runs, he might think it's game on! *Lifestyle Needs* Lucas requires an active family that can match his energy levels. If you enjoy running, hiking, or just having fun outdoors, he's your perfect match! He also loves car rides, so whether it's a trip to the park or a scenic drive, he'll be your co-pilot with his nose out the window, soaking in all the sights! *Training and Skills* Worried about messes? Fear not! Lucas is house trained and crate trained. He understands that his human's shoes are not chew toys (most of the time), but he does have a bit of separation anxiety. With stability and a consistent routine, his anxiety can be reduced, helping him feel more secure in his new home. He's been known to chew up beds and pillows when left alone, so a home where someone is around for most of the day or where he has a furry sibling to keep him company would be ideal! *Adoption Info* If you're ready to add some laughter, love, and a little bit of chaos to your life, Lucas is your guy! Our adoption fee includes all current vaccinations, his microchip, and neuter. Get ready for some tail-wagging adventures, joy-filled car rides, and a lifetime of fun (and maybe a few new pillows) with the handsome Lucas by your side!

Updated 01May25 **Meet Mollie** *Training* Mollie is both crate trained and house trained, but she needs a lot of work in training, especially to curb her enthusiasm for jumping! She's strong and has no manners on a leash, so consistent training will be essential for walks. With dedicated guidance and patience, she'll learn how to walk nicely and keep all four paws on the ground. She knows the difference between her cozy cave and your living room rug (good girl!). With a sprinkle of love, she'll continue to impress and make you laugh! *Favorite Activities* Mollie loves to chase her favorite tennis ball, which she considers her version of the championship! Watch out, because she's a tennis ball tornado-once she starts, there's no stopping her! When she's not busy being the next canine athlete, you can find her practicing her snuggle skills with humans. The more cuddles, the better-she's a certified cuddle monster! *Ideal Home* Mollie needs a loving family who can handle her playful antics and give her the attention she craves. Her rough play style makes her better suited for homes with older children. She's not sure about her cat friendliness, so a proper introduction would be essential if there are felines in the house. All you have to do is provide the belly rubs and snacks! *Foster Information* If you're ready for a daily dose of laughter, love, and a little bit of chaos, apply to be a foster family for Mollie! She's ready to bring joy, tennis balls, and a few giggles into your life as she embarks on her quest to find her forever home. --- Let me know if you need any further changes or additional details!

Updated 19MAR25 **Meet Brewster!** Gender: Male House and Fraternity Trained: Yes (he's ready for all the house parties and snuggle sessions!) Cat Friendly: Absolutely! *The Snuggler Extraordinaire!* This stunning love bug isn't just your adventure partner; he's also your dedicated couch potato. When you're ready to take a nap, Brewster is already plotting the perfect snuggle position! *Background* Brewster's journey is one of resilience and hope. He was probably on his own for a while and it shows—he was rescued off the streets, very underweight and injured, with long nails and a body covered in pine needles. It's like he was trying to start a new fashion trend in the wild! After his rescue, he underwent orthopedic surgery in November 2022 to repair his leg, which was broken in two places. But like the champ he is, he bounced back faster than you can say "treat time!" Now he's ready to take on life with a joyful spirit and a few extra cuddles. *Personality* Brewster can be a little shy at first, but don't worry; he warms up faster than a microwave burrito! Once he's comfortable, his charming personality shines through, and you'll wonder how you ever lived without a dog who can snuggle like a pro. *Skills* Brewster is house and fraternity trained, meaning he knows how to behave like a gentleman and still rock the party! He's also cat-friendly, making him the perfect addition to any family. Brewster prefers a quiet, not busy household, where he can relax and enjoy the company of his humans. If you're looking for a furry friend who's equal parts adventure seeker and master of the art of napping, Brewster is your guy! Just be prepared for some serious cuddle competition from your couch! *Adoption or Foster Needed* Brewster is eagerly seeking a loving forever home where he can share his snuggles and joy. If you're ready to welcome this sweet boy into your life, please consider adopting Brewster!
