Most of HAZEL’s days are spent lounging on the couch, hanging in the backyard or snuggling in bed with her foster dads. Introducing MACK! He is very sweet and devoted to those he loves. He’s also extremely well behaved in the home, completely house and crate trained. Even though MACK is really just a baby himself, approximately a year old, he isn't at all destructive. He wants so much to really truly belong to someone, and he will give them all the love and loyalty in the world in return. He is a cautious boy, it takes him a minute to warm up to new people and situations, but he handles his fear well and is getting better all the time. He’s great with other dogs and his confidence soars when with them. Therefore he can only go to a house that has at least one other dog. He is currently in his home with his foster mom who just adores him. She says he’s perfectly behaved with her dogs and is an absolute joy. The humans call me Bolin. I would best describe myself as 75 pounds of cuddle and snooze who’s a sucker for stuffed toys and soft blankets to curl up on. I’m super cute in my frog pose on the ground with my front paws sticking out in opposite directions. I’m also very human-friendly! It doesn’t matter if it’s old friends or brand-new friends, I just trot up to say hello and get petted. One of my nicknames in the rescue is a slug, I guess that means I’m slow-moving and chill. He is people friendly but takes a little time to warm up and then he is mush in your hands. He is dog friendly and goes in a play group with other dogs during the day. Black would benefit greatly from an adopter who would make him feel safe, loved, and who would work on building him up to feel like the good boy that WE KNOW HE IS. UPDATE-Black has recently gone on a weekend field trip to see how he behaves in a home. The weekend fosters said he was absolutely wonderful, a little shy at first but so loving and a great house guest. He even let them give him a bath.
