Story
Meet Chance! 🌊🐾 This handsome 11-month-old Lab/Hound mix is full of life, love, and energy — and he’s ready to make a splash in his forever home! Chance’s story started out rough. He was found as a stray on a busy highway, starving and covered in fleas, but despite it all, his sweet spirit never wavered. Now that he’s safe in foster care, he’s thriving — and discovering all the joys of being a happy, healthy young dog! Chance is absolutely obsessed with water — if there’s a hose, sprinkler, or puddle nearby, he’s in heaven! When he’s not playing in the water, he loves running around the yard, learning how to play with his foster dog siblings, and showing off his hilarious hound-like howl. After he’s burned off his puppy energy, Chance becomes the sweetest, cuddliest boy who just wants to curl up with his people. He’s smart, social, and eager to please, and with a little continued training and exercise, he’ll be an amazing adventure buddy and loyal best friend. ✅ Lab/Hound mix — about 11 months old ✅ Great with other dogs ✅ Loves all water activities (hose, sprinklers, puddles — you name it!) ✅ Energetic, vocal, and full of personality ✅ Sweet, affectionate, and loves to cuddle after playtime Chance was given his name for a reason — he just needed someone to give him one, and now he’s ready to take his second chance and run with it (probably straight into the nearest body of water!). 💦❤️ Adoption fee includes neuter.

Story
Chase may have his mom’s (Helga) small rat terrier size, but those big, floppy ears tell you there’s a bit of Lab or hound in his family tree. This lovable boy is one of seven lucky pups saved from euthanasia, and he’s ready to find a family of his own. Chase is playful, affectionate, and full of curiosity. He loves toys, is treat-motivated (which makes training fun!), and is already working hard on his potty training. He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household. If you’re looking for a sweet pup with a mix of spunk and snuggles, Chase is your guy!

Story
Roger’s story began when he was just a puppy and his whole life has been about loyalty. He followed an older gentleman home one day… and never left. He chose his person, and from that day on, he was a loyal, loving companion. When his human dad passed away, Roger stayed with his dad’s sister, who adored him just as much. Sadly, her declining health means she can no longer give Roger the care and activity he truly deserves. It breaks her heart, but she wants the very best life for him. Roger has been in a foster home since early summer while his mom underwent open-heart surgery. She hasn’t been able to return home, and she has asked for help finding Roger a family who will love him as deeply as she does. Roger is about 6 years old, neutered, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention. His puppy energy is long gone — this boy is all about calm companionship. He loves walks, snuggling in bed, and simply being near his people. Even though Roger wasn’t socialized much in his previous life, he has blown everyone away in foster care. His foster home has 38 dogs on the property, and Roger lives peacefully with around 32 of them inside the home. He is crate trained, excellent on a leash (seriously — no pulling at all!), and has shown zero food dominance. Roger deserves a home where he can relax, feel safe, and enjoy simple joys like slow walks and couch cuddles. He’s not huge on fetch — he’d much rather play keep-away or enjoy some tug games. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal, easy-going companion who wants nothing more than to be near his people, Roger is your boy. He has so much love left to give and is ready to spend his golden years with a family who will treasure him Roger likes to play tug of war, he wiggles his body and tail and talks a little, he prefers the calmer life. He likes laying on his bed just chewing on one of his femur filled bones. He will place his head on your lap when you are sitting in bed and ask for pets. He enjoys laying on the bed when you are watching TV, but will move to his bed next to your bed when he is ready to sleep. Roger is a very good candidate for adoption! HE really is a dream. He would easily fit into our pack, but we can't keep them all and Roger enjoys being near his humans.
