Story
DOB 12/1/2022 Buddy is the sweetest boy, and he's pretty handsome too! He loves pup cups, and does pretty well on a leash. With the weather getting cooler, we are going to start walking him again at the park. He gets along great with all dogs he has met! He does really well going inside as well, and loves to lay on the rug and play with his toys. He retrieves them all from his toy box, but he hasn't learned how to put them back! We started him out with crate training and bringing him in at night, and he did really well but he actually prefers to be outside when the weather is nice instead of cooped up. But he will still go in the crate if he needs to be inside for some reason. He's been to the groomer three times now, and she said he’s doing really well. He tried to jump out of the tub the very first time but now he loves going! Buddy showed up at a kind woman's house in Jacksonville about 1 1/2 years ago. She took in a mom and 8 puppies at the same time and has several of her own. So her mom has been fostering Buddy, fell in love with him but she's in her 80's, is a fall risk and can't care for him like he needs. He will do best with an active family, a fenced yard and a playmate or two. Foster-to-adopt is a great way to see if he's the perfect fit for your family!

Story
WinnieLocation: Vista, CaliforniaDOB: 4/1/2023Winnie is looking for a lowkey home that’s experienced in helping very low confidence and fearful dogs become their best self.Dogs: yes dog friendly. Gets nervous meeting them but with slow intro does great and likes to play.Kids: gets along with the ones in her home but we will need to place her in a home without kids due to her fear.Cats: lived with a cat with previous foster (puppy) with no concerns but hasn’t met one again. She is Ok in crate when you are away. Winnie will growl at people she doesn’t like. We think this is fear based.Winnie knows how to use a dog door and is potty trained unless scared. She doesn’t like loud noises or cleaning equipment and men in hats. Doesn’t like to go on walks in town but in the woods/alone/ secluded is fine. She has no resource guarding.SNUGGLE CHAMPION!! In bed and on couch. Thinks she’s a lap dog. Really sweet girl and loyal to her family. Is a ninja when she plays and is also part kangaroo. She can jump really high and likes to go on the kids playground. She never tries to jump over the fence though.========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176Winnie can be fostered or adopted! For more information, please email us at rescueme@srgdrr.org.
