Story
Meet Simon! He came to WAG as part of a litter of 6 after spending the first two and a half months of his life in the forest on the Olympic Peninsula. As a result, Simon is still shy around people he does not know.  While in foster care, we have learned that he is a cuddle bug with those he trusts. If you are looking for a constant companion, look no further. This sweet guy will bond tightly with his people. Because of Simon's shy nature, he needs people that will be understanding and patient with him as they train Simon to be the good dog we know he can be, and a calm environment. Due to his tendency to run when frightened, experienced dog owners are needed. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) November 10, 2025, 7:38 pm

Story
Meet Babette! Babette, her littermates, and their mother came to WAG when the puppies were just a few days old (born 9/23/25) and their previous owner could not care for them. Her mother, River, has a very sweet temperament and has been wonderful with her babies. She has been adopted, but Babette is still waiting for her forever home. WAG's puppies require homes with a visibly fenced yard, people who are home most hours and can dedicate time to training, children at least 5 years old, and another dog in the home under age 8 to act as a role model would be a plus. WAG will provide all age-appropriate vaccinations, but adopters are required to spay or neuter their puppy by 6 months or at the age recommended by their veterinarian. Story
Meet Choopy! This sweetheart came into WAG's care when in the early stages of recovering from flea allergy dermatitis. In the time she's been in foster care, we've gotten to see her get healthier and see what a great companion she is.  Choopy arrived in our care frightened and nearly bald. With a good diet and medications, her hair has mostly grown back. Her behavior is a bit more typical of a shepherd than a lab. She will inspect everything and everyone that comes into the house, and takes time to warm up to someone new. With continued socialization, she is becoming less fearful. Choopy is a great companion in the home! When she's comfortable, she rarely barks. She is agile, a quick learner, and is very food motivated, so she will go as far with training as an adopter wants to go.  Choopy's ideal home would need a securely fenced yard (at least 5' tall), people that can continue working on her training, and either no other dogs in the home or a laid-back dog. Choopy has previously lived with cats, but would likely be tempted to chase a cat if it ran from her. She has lived around kids and does well with gentle kids.  Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Story
About Levi At around 1 year old, Levi is a very strong, energetic, and playful Labrador Retriever. Levi also has a high prey drive; because of this, he needs a home without cats and would do best in a house with no children under the age of 12. Levi is looking for a home with an experienced dog owner who is willing to work with Levi and his obedience and manners. This boy is sweet, and with proper guidance and a good routine, he will make a great companion! This lovely boy weighs 72 lb. Considerations High prey drive. No cats, poultry, or other small animals.
