Story
I rescued Gracie when she was 4 months old. She had been brought there at 2 months old. We have been together for 2 years but unfortunately, my health has been failing and I am physically unable to keep up with her. I am 73 and over the past 2 years quickly becoming unable to care for her. Gracie is such a sweetheart that I have found this very hard to do but I am having health challenges so I cannot continue to keep her. She is very smart. Learns quickly and loves to play with other dogs so a home with some friends would be ideal for her I think. She is strong and still pulls some on walks so she still needs some work on pulling towards other dogs... wants to play no aggression. Perfect dog in home. Trained and no issues. I just can't continue to have a dog because of my physical issues.

This boy is sweet, and with proper guidance and a good routine, he will make a great companion! This lovely boy weighs 72 lb. Considerations High prey drive. No cats, poultry, or other small animals.

Story
Meet Simon! He came to WAG as part of a litter of 6 after spending the first two and a half months of his life in the forest on the Olympic Peninsula. As a result, Simon is still shy around people he does not know.  While in foster care, we have learned that he is a cuddle bug with those he trusts. If you are looking for a constant companion, look no further. This sweet guy will bond tightly with his people. Because of Simon's shy nature, he needs people that will be understanding and patient with him as they train Simon to be the good dog we know he can be, and a calm environment. Due to his tendency to run when frightened, experienced dog owners are needed. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) March 7, 2026, 3:07 pm

Story
Fun and sassy. Can be both energetic and also likes to lounge around. She can be chill but still has puppy behavior. Likes to play with her toys and will throw them at you. She hangs out by the window to watch people and the birds until it's time for walks. Loves long walks and toys that make noise. Good with children but reactive with dogs. Does not do well with cats or animals that can be chased. House-trained and fine in a crate but has been roaming crate-free with no issues. Poops on command. Leash reactive. Her trust in other animals is a result from having a run in with a raccoon. up to date with vaccines, micro-chipped. has mild hip dysplasia but there has been improvement since taking supplements. Does not bother her at all.
