Story
Good dog. Needs more time than life is allowing me. Have Sprite and her sister pepper. They were both together never had any problems. I'm going through a divorce and have the dogs at a temporary place but not getting as much time as they need. And they have had a bit of a problem getting along with each other and other dogs since the move. Sprite loves playing fetch over and over. Lots of energy. Year old. Black lab, German pointer, chesapeake retriever mix I was told.

Story
Meet Saylor!Saylor is training to be in the 2024 summer Olympics for fetch and we believe she can do it! Nothing will get in between her and her tennis ball - she will gladly swim through any body of water to retrieve it. All jokes aside, chasing a ball is one of her favourite things to do, but once she tires out, she is calm and collected, and she loves to lay in the grass and bask in the sun. Saylor is currently in foster and is helping out at a kids summer camp! She is an excellent camp counsellor but is ready to find her forever family. Her foster reports that she is great with kids of all ages, and has interacted with kids as young as 3 without issue. Saylor loves to be with her people and makes a wonderful office dog. She doesn't mind being left at home either, but may need a bit of time to adjust to a new space before feeling totally comfortable being left alone in it. (You might want to expect some barking during this adjustment period).Saylor doesn't seem to bark at the door when a new person knocks or comes in, but she can be wary of men or strangers in hats, and likes a slower introduction. Saylor would prefer chest rubs before straight over the head pats when you first meet her. She is a very smart cookie and is eager to give you a paw or a bark when she has to go outside to do her business or is ready for dinner. Saylor has done well meeting medium and large size dogs, but has a high prey drive, and we would not recommend she cohabitates with any small size dogs or cats. (She is a big lizard chaser!)Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Saylor's person? Story
Goose is an awesome dog. He was born August 9, 2022. I love him with all my heart but because of my age and a few surgeries he is a little too active for me. He loves to run and play ball. He has 1 million toys and he loves them all. Goose has had a lot of training with Evergreen School For Dogs. He needs someone to help him to keep up the good work. I just can’t do it and it’s not fair to him. Goose is good with kids. He is OK with cats. It did take him a few months to realize that the cat in our house was not to be chased. Now they get along fine. The cat loves him.

Story
Meet Alison! Alison is a ball of energy and the world is her trampoline. When she isn't busy stealing her brother Edzo's toys, she loves to bounce around and lets her joy be known. Alison also loves a good snuggle with her people and will never turn down the chance for pets and scritches. Her smaller size, energy level, and fearlessness make her a great choice for a more active individual or family.Alison currently lives with other large dogs of her own age and older. While there is a cat in the home, she has not had direct access or been "tested" for her reaction to cats or small dogs. Her young age, energy level, and size may not make her appropriate for homes with children under the age of seven. With time, patience, and treats, Alison will become a loving dog. This animal is being cross-posted for private rehoming by its owner. This animal is not in the care of Kitsap Humane Society and the staff at KHS cannot respond to any inquiries about this animal.
