Story
This is Alaska my beautiful fluffy teddy bear. Hes about 8 years old husky Pyrenees mix and 87 lbs of fur. I adopted him in August of 2024 from Denver animal shelter. I went to adopt this all white husky but decided he was too much puppy. So im comes Alaska this gentle giant sat in my lap and chose me. The shelter said he was an owner surrender because he attacked and killed a rooster. He is pretty perfect on walks. He doesn't pay the other dogs attention. He even has great recal. Alaska is really the best rescue you could have. He's friendly with kids, cats, dogs anyone one really. I call him an attention whore. He does have a little resource guarding so I recommend feeding him seperatly. Very sensitive to having feet touched.Very food motivated. Alaska is a big baby. Is afraid of fireworks, bright lights, loud beeping noises, fire and a few other things.Sadly some horrible things have happened and we have to go to an apartment which is NOT fair for a dog his size. He deserves space.
