Jenny is the new best friend that is going to make your holidays bright! She is a 2.5 year-old, 17.4 pound, cream/white, Lhasa /Maltese mix. This beautiful girl will require regular professional grooming. She is A very loving girl. She is a 24 seven Companion and will need a home where somebody is with her most of the time. She’s getting the routine of using the doggie door here at the sanctuary. She keeps her kennel clean at night so potty training should be fairly easy. She walks well on the leash and gets along with other dogs. She is a quiet dog and would do well in a quieter home without young children. She is scheduled to be spayed, but we are looking for her home now. She is currently vaccinated. She has been micro chipped, Flea treated and dewormed. Qiqi is appx 3 to 4 yrs old, lhasa mix. She weights about 28 to 30lbs as shes a sturdy girl that loves to eat! She was found hanging out in the woods by herself at night chewing on a bone (as seen in the last videos) and most likely she had an owner and was abandoned when they moved. She smelled really bad and had some skin issues but shes all good now! She plays well with other dogs, walks well on leash but tends to pull a bit. Does well in car rides, house trained and potty trained. Doesn't bark much. She does get a bit timid when I try to put a leash on her but no aggression so its just something to continue to work with her to get her comfortable. She knows sit command and definitely not a picky eater.

Chase is a sweet and loyal dog, but like his name he likes to chase. We live on a farm and his characteristics of liking to chase cats, and farm animals don’t mix well. Chase also seems to be allergic to something on our property. This itching and licking drives my young son crazy, and due to school issues my young son is now being home schooled so the relationship has become extremely strained. He is good with other dogs close in his size, he’s adorable and loving. He is good on a leash and never has accidents in the house. I have tried for years to make things work between him and our family, and farm animals but we are not the right fit for him. He needs a home with good fences, and someone to take him on walks. He could be a great companion for someone who doesn’t live on a farm or have cats. He doesn’t mind staying home for long stretches during the day, and doesn’t chew up furniture or damage anything. He is very smart and I just hope to find him a loving fit for him.
