Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!  To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info!   ***I am able to go home to my forever family right from transport!! You get a 5 day Foster-to-Adopt trial with me in your home. Please note that Foster-to-Adopt trials are offered at the rescue's discretion and may be limited or declined in cases of repeated returns or misuse of the program.***   Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on October 23rd and arrive on October 24th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!!   Updated: 9/23/26 Dog Name: Groot Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Lhasa Apso/Havanese Mix Date of Birth: 6/6/26 Approximate Weight: 6-9 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Not yet (too young) Adoption Fee: $650 Description:  Little Groot was saved from a very sad situation and even though he is so young, his life has not had a great start. We don’t know how this little doll could be unwanted but he is now safe and loved in a Texas foster and getting his second chance. He is looking for a family who will love him unconditionally and teach him how to be the best puppy. He is so full of life and has such a cute little personality. He will require regular grooming and deserves to be pampered for the rest of his life!  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. October 6, 2026, 4:09 am

Story
Meet Miss Marla. Marla is a 4 year old teddy bear mix. I believe she is part lhasa apso, and she is smart and sweet and playful. Marla had a rocky start to her life so far but she is resilient! When I first got her, she didn't know what stairs were. In three weeks she has learned to go up and down stairs, sometimes reluctantly, and she will signal that she needs to go outside by going to the door. Marla is very laid back and quiet, she is not a barker. She does have a bit of a stubborn streak, so sometimes you have to work with that to get her to do things. But she is trainable! If you would like more information or would like to meet Marla, please call or text foster mom Rose Roderick, Hales Corners, WI 414-507-2428. Adoption fee of $450 required.

Story
Meet Mork! Mork is a 13-week-old Lhasa Apso weighing just 5.6 lbs, but don’t let his tiny size fool you—this little guy has a BIG personality! He’s sweet, curious, playful, and always ready to explore whatever comes next. Mork loves running around with his foster dog friends and gets along great with other dogs. He hasn’t met any cats yet, so that’s still an unknown. He’s currently working on house training and is still figuring out what this whole “leash” thing is about. A fenced yard is encouraged so he can safely enjoy one of his favorite things—free running and playing! After all that puppy adventuring, Mork is happiest curled up beside his people soaking up cuddles and attention. He’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly, and he’s ready to grow up with a family of his very own. Mork is vet checked and current on vaccines and is being fostered in Naperville, IL. To meet this sweet guy, please complete an application at tinypawssmalldogrescue.org or contact Donna at 815-761-1170.

Story
OK, INTERNET, I NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN! Please share this post to help our little sweet Cookie find her forever home. She is the last of our Snack Pack bunch, and she’s ready to meet her person! Gorgeous Ginger Seeks Forever Love Hello! I’m Cookie. And yes, I’m every bit as sweet as my name. I’m a 12-week-old Lhasapoo currently living with my foster family in Kenosha, WI, and I’m looking for someone who thinks I might be their perfect match. My dating profile is pretty simple: I love: • Couch cuddles • Playing • Being outside • Following my favorite person around • Being carried in a sling (because sometimes a girl just wants to be chauffeured) Basically, if we’re together, I’m happy. I’m a curious, smart little girl who is learning all about the world. I’m also especially fascinated by cats. I love them. They are less enthusiastic about our relationship. I’m still trying to understand this. I’m working on learning to be gentle when I get excited, and my foster mom says a toy is a great way to redirect my attention when I get a little too enthusiastic. I’m doing pretty well at keeping my pen clean, and my foster mom thinks I’ll be fairly easy to housebreak or train to use a pee pad. I’m currently about 5 pounds, so because I’m such a little thing, I may do best in an adult home or with older children who understand how to be gentle with a tiny puppy. I absolutely LOVE playing with my foster brothers and sister, so having a doggy sibling in my forever home would be pretty pawesome. But it’s not a deal breaker — I really, really love my people, too. And bonus points for my future family: I don’t shed! I will need regular grooming to keep me looking my best, and while no dog is truly 100% hypoallergenic, my low-shedding coat may make me a good option for someone with allergies. I’m up to date on my vaccinations, microchipped, and my adoption fee includes my spay when I’m old enough. So… are you my person? If you’re interested in meeting me, please message my foster mom. And if you can’t give me a home, please share this post anyway. You never know — my perfect person might be just one share away. I may be the last of the Snack Pack, but I’m hoping to be somebody’s first choice for forever. Love, Cookie WI DATCP # 274478
