Meet Kang! Kang is a precious, 3 year old Lhasa Apso looking for his forever family! This sweet boy is potty trained, quiet and enjoys snuggling up in soft beds. He came from a breeding situation, so he is somewhat shy; however, he learning to gain trust every day. He is getting used to the fact that humans can be kind. Kang enjoys other dogs and can be trusted in the home alone. He really is an amazing guy! Meet Miss Marla. Marla is a 4 year old teddy bear mix. I believe she is part lhasa apso, and she is smart and sweet and playful. Marla had a rocky start to her life so far but she is resilient! When I first got her, she didn't know what stairs were. In three weeks she has learned to go up and down stairs, sometimes reluctantly, and she will signal that she needs to go outside by going to the door. Marla is very laid back and quiet, she is not a barker. She does have a bit of a stubborn streak, so sometimes you have to work with that to get her to do things. But she is trainable! Meet Benji! He is a happy, loving, 4 year old Lhasapoo who is friendly with dogs and people. Benji knows some basic commands and knows to go potty when outside. He was found as a stray and brought to animal control, where he stayed until New Beginnings picked him up this morning. Animal control shaved him down due to severe matting. Benji weighs 13 pounds and has another 2-3 pounds to gain to reach his ideal body weight. Benji would love a forever home with another playful dog, kids that will run around and play with him, or an active owner.
