**Meet Willie ** **Secure Fence attached to the house and other dogs in the home are required to adopt Willie.** Willie is a 13-pound teddy bear with a big personality and an even bigger love for other dogs. If there’s a playmate nearby, Willie is all in! He absolutely thrives in the company of canine friends and would love a home with another playful dog to romp and bounce around with. Ok, lets be truthful. Willie wants 10 dogs in his new home as he wears each one out. haha Willie also loves TOYS and doesn't mind the snow. Willie is a happy, friendly little guy who enjoys being part of the action — especially if that action involves dogs. He prefers dogs over people and is what we lovingly call “fearful of capture.” That means he doesn’t like being cornered, grabbed, or forced into something before he’s ready. If you try to catch him, he’ll dodge like a tiny ninja. It’s not mean behavior — it’s self-protection and uncertainty. With understanding and respectful handling, he does beautifully. The good news? Willie is smart and thrives with routine. He is kennel-trained, and his kennel is a helpful, positive tool when it’s time to leash up. He is potty-trained and does best with a securely fenced yard attached directly to the home, so he can go in and out without needing to be physically caught. This setup helps him feel safe and keeps everyone stress-free. Once he is actually on a leash or picked up, he is very friendly. Willie loves going for walks and does well in the car. He’s good with people as long as interactions stay calm and on his terms. He’s looking for a peaceful, patient home experienced with dog behavior — someone who understands that trust is earned, not forced. Best with no kids or older respectful kids. If you appreciate the sensitive, thoughtful dogs of the world and know the joy that comes from building trust, Willie may just be your perfect little sidekick. Adoption fee is $350 plus tax. Meet Chablis 💛 Chablis is a 14-year-old Bichon with the softest heart and the gentlest soul. He recently returned to rescue through no fault of his own—his beloved owner’s health declined, and they could no longer care for him. It’s clear he was cherished, and now he’s simply hoping to find another quiet home where he can feel safe and loved again. This sweet senior is all about the simple things in life: a cozy bed, a calm routine, and someone to sit beside. He absolutely enjoys cuddling and will happily nestle in close for some peaceful companionship. He’s not demanding—just grateful. Chablis can do stairs like a champ, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is also good with cats. In fact, he does best with another dog in the home. Having a furry friend nearby seems to bring him comfort and confidence. He is potty trained but will also use potty pads. He is leash trained. He qualifies for our Senior for Senior program, making him an especially lovely match for someone looking for a calm, devoted companion to share their days. Meet Our “Gentleman’s Club 7” Breeder-Release Maltese Dogs 🌼 (Reginald, Clarence, Edwin, Percival, Wilfred, Bertram, and Theodore) Meet Edwin 💙 — a tiny 7-lb Maltese with a huge personality and a talent for making people laugh. Edwin is a funny little guy who brings big, joyful energy… especially when other dogs are around. Edwin is still getting used to living in a home with people. He will snuggle his foster mom on his own and is slowly becoming more comfortable with being petted. However, Edwin is still scared of being picked up. What he lacks in confidence with people, he more than makes up for in his love of dogs — they make him very happy and help him feel safe. Edwin is under-socialized, but with patience, gentle handling, and consistent, kind routines, he is beginning to feel more secure and learn what it means to be loved. He’ll do best in a calm home that lets him move at his own pace and celebrates small wins. He walks well on a leash if he’s accompanied by another dog. Edwin is doing well going potty outside on a schedule with the help of his foster family’s dogs as role models. However, he may still have potty accidents at times if his scheduled potty routine isn’t closely followed. REQUIREMENTS: • Edwin must have another social dog in the home (all sizes are fine!)
