1) READ ENTIRE AD 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end). Hi! We’re Monkey & Wolf — 12 week old Bonded Brothers Looking for Our Forever Couch Hi there! We’re Monkey and Wolf, two bonded brothers who do everything together — exploring, playing, napping, and most importantly… cuddling. Life just makes more sense when we’re side by side, so we’re looking for a home where we can stay together forever. I’m Monkey, the thoughtful one. When I enter a new space, I like to take a moment to look around and gather my thoughts. Once I decide everything checks out, I’m all in — chasing toys, stretching out across the couch (or your lap), and curling up for naps. I love attention, tummy rubs, and being held like a baby when I’m sleepy. I may be cautiously curious, but I warm up quickly and become very affectionate. And I’m Wolf, the snuggle-first brother. If you sit down, I’ll probably be right there with you. I love being close to my people, soaking up head scratches, belly rubs, and all the affection you’re willing to give. I’m friendly, trusting, and usually one of the first to say hello. Exploring is more fun when I follow Monkey’s lead — he checks things out, and I confidently tag along. Together, we have a moderate energy level: fun bursts of play followed by long, cozy naps. We’re used to normal household sounds and do well in calm or moderately active homes. We might do well with older gentle cat savvy kids, and we may be able to live with a calm, cat-friendly dog with proper introductions. When we first come home, we’ll appreciate starting out in a cozy “safe room” together so we can settle in at our own pace. Sit with us, talk softly, and let us come to you — we promise the cuddles will follow. If you’re looking for two loving companions who balance adventure and calm, curiosity and confidence, and offer double the affection, we might be exactly who you’ve been waiting for. These sweet, adorable boys must be adopted together. They are rescues so we cannot confirm any true Maine Coon in Wolff but he has the physical characteristics of one. ________________________________________________________ ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren't subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won't be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don't skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We've been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process

Story
Well what a high drama girl this little Carrot Cake is! I always love the striking colors of calico kitties who are almost always females. I joke that these vivid little fireballs are Little Empresses who that think they own the whole world and act accordingly. Ms Carrot Cake is definitely the exception to this rule. She is not a demanding personality; instead, she is an easy going and nicely behaved little treasure. Having grown up around her charming brothers and other kitty playmates she loves other cats. She also loves humans and all the attention they bring. Her two brothers were a matched set of orange boys and they went home together after we spent quite a while looking for a family that could take all three siblings.A home for three is very hard to find.Sadly we had to separate them but she adjusted much better than we expected. So let's find a new family for Carrot Cake with at least one other fun loving kitty. She is a confident , playful and curious girl and would probably be fine with a cat loving dog but we have no direct experience of that with her. She is so outgoing that she will likely entertain strangers who come over to dinner. Who could fail to be smitten with a soft, fuzzy kitty who has one black front leg and one red tabby front leg, both with sparkling white feet? And over the black leg she has a red cheek and over the red leg she has a black cheek. All with a pink nose set above a white chin. And she often has a grumpy cat face which just makes you smile because that is not her at all. She is a one of a kind kitty who is so much fun. Carrot Cake would be good as a family cat and probably would be just fine with respectful children of all ages. She is an easy cat in many ways. She is healthy, loves attention, loves other kitties, uses her box , will eat anything. She enjoys brushing and grooming as the loving attention it really is and has an easy coat to manage even though her hair is medium long. Look how silky it is! She is part Maine Coon and that gives her not only her plush fur but also her willingness to be in a family setting including the noise and commotion that often comes with that. She could also be an entertaining, heart companion for a couple or a single person who are home and have another cat . She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect. If your home comes complete with catnip she would be delighted. Some family will be so lucky to have her entertaining, loving, soft, cuddly company. Carrot Cake is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Carrot Cake please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Milo is 5 years old, and was adopted at 4 months old(neutered and vaccinated) from a foster home. He’s playful, cuddly, affectionate, funny, and mostly independent. Milo used to be given more attention during quarantine but slowly received less over time and now is not able to acclimate into a new home with a toddler and new born on the way. He can be a bit vocal, which is hard with sleeping kids. He likes to be clean and be in tidy environments. Loves play time in the afternoon and cuddle time before bed. Doesn’t eat on a diet, self regulates his eating habits very well. He recently got updated vaccinations this month.

Story
My daughter and I adopted Kiwi in 2018 from a shelter, so she is chipped and spayed, My daughter moved away and left me in charge of Kiwi. Though I love her so much and am sad to give her to a new home, I travel a lot and am not home much. Kiwi is 7 years old. She is very low maintenance, but is scared when meeting new people and tends to hide until she feels comfortable. She is not aggressive, or scratches on furniture. She loves cuddling on my lap on a blanket when I watch tv. I do let her outside during the day but she is mostly inside so she does use a litter box. I feed her one small can of wet food and she eats dry food the rest of the day. Yes, I like spoiling her with wet food and treats.
