Story
Zoë is about 8 years old. I adopted her as a kitten while I had two other rescue cats at that time that my ex-girlfriend and I picked out. So through the years, Zoë has has always had a problem using her litter box. I’ve tried many different things, but I believe that she has an issue with the other two cats also doing their business in HER litter box. I have recently taken Zoë to a veterinarian for a check-up, to the tune of $750 (she’s worth it), and she basically has a clean bill of health. I have all of the paperwork for that too. Zoë is also randomly affectionate. She’s not a cuddler with me anymore, but she used to be. She’s a purring fool when she’s happy, and she used to greet me at my door when I got home from work, up until I took her to the Vet for a checkup a few weeks ago 😢. I believe that Zoë needs that one person to show her love, because I’m not IT anymore 😢. She needs someone better than me.

Story

Fluffy is a wonderful and a most charming kitty. She is approximately 8 years old or less, and is a good companion. She is well-rounded and enjoys the outdoors as well as being inside. She is up to date on vaccinations, and house-trained. People have told me amazing stories about her and most people fall in love with her. She is talkative but not too talkative. She is independent but also affectionate. She makes a great kitty for an artist, designer, and engineer. She will be curious and a delight. This is not necessary, but she will make for interesting conversation as well be a partner. She would prefer to be the only cat, but may do well with a handsome well-mannered male kitty around the same age. If interested, please tell me a bit about yourself and living arrangements. Adoption Fee: $125 (waived for good home)

Story
Well, Katya is still growing. As a typical Maine Coon she will grow bigger for two more years. She is not, however, a typical Maine Coon. With her long ear tufts and extravagant body she is very like a group of 7 huge Maine Coons from Russia that I fostered four years ago. In her photos she looks bigger than she is but she is growing very large ( look at her paws) and she is already huge in energy and personality. Katya is a lot of cat. She clearly thinks she was born to rule continents and kingdoms. Look at her cover photo you can see how smart she is. She is hard to photograph because she is constantly moving – usually towards the photographer for asking for pets. Katya is very affectionate and loves humans but her humans need be cat savvy and pay attention. She is full of energy and rambunctiousness. She has been cooped up in too small an area for way too long and has a pent-up need for space and play and running and jumping. She has been good-natured about it but it is getting to be too long. She needs her home and humans. Do you have a spacious home to house her beauty and energy? Part of her trouble is she came into foster with her five beautiful kittens. (They are known as The Breakfast Kittens: Silver Dollar Pancake, Granola, Omelet, Oatmeal and Pumpernickel.) Mommy cats don’t like the company of other cats at all. Katya, now spayed, still doesn’t like other cats so it is hard to let her out to run about since other cats are present. She loves to roll around upside down and see if you are watching how cute she is. She is a flirt. She loves to lick and groom you. She can look stern and very wild. She loves to play and be silly. She is headstrong. She is very affectionate. She is a handful. You can see that she looks quite different in each picture. Such a fascinating kitty. Katya needs an experienced cat person, or family, who can live up to the challenge of out thinking her – or keeping up with her anyway. To fall in love with Katya is to make a life style choice that will take a lot of time and effort. This is not a sleep on the couch kitty. Do you want a kitty partner who is very exciting, smart and loyal ? Katya needs a big spacious home with no other resident cats or small children. We don’t know how she is with dogs but it is a pretty likely that she would be in charge. They may be great playmates for her. Some family will be so lucky to have her company. Katya eats wet and dry food and is litterbox-perfect. Katya is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Katya please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!

Story
Mr. Frederick Furmeister is a handsome Maine Coon mix. His long coat is grey with a beautiful silver undercoat and is luxuriously soft. He has big beautiful expressive golden green eyes and a tiny squeak for a voice. "Freddy" is a gentle giant, weighing in at 16 pounds, yet the sweetest cat ever! He loves to be petted and brushed and will allow it for as long as you will do it, making biscuits and purring the entire time. He adores his humans, and you can easily see that in his communicative face. Freddy is FIV+ and although FIV is a lifetime diagnosis, he can easily live a long normal life with a few minor adjustments. Cats with FIV must live indoors and can happily live with other indoor, non-aggressive cats to be protected from bacteria and viruses in the outdoor environment as their immune systems are somewhat compromised. Regular vaccinations, and treatment for fleas, mites, and worms are also important, so a yearly checkup is crucial to this loving boy. Freddy is a tidy person's dream! He has immaculate table manners and is impeccable with his litter box. He enjoys a small amount of wet food morning and night but prefers his dry food and of course, his treats. You will get lots of head bumps from him with the offer of a treat. This big hunk is such a sweet, affectionate, loving guy and is looking for a special place to call home. Just look at his adoring face, meet him, and hear his gentle purrs, and you'll soon realize that you will get back ten times the love you give! Mr. Frederick Furmeister aka Freddy is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. He currently lives with his foster family in West Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Mr. Frederick Furmeister aka Freddy please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Ellen at garyreason@gmail.com or 916-743-8324.
