Story
Hello, my name is Percy! I am a wonderful kitty who needs a loving, forever home. I was living on the street and a nice lady rescued me (and my two friends, Tabby and Moxie). I am a super sweet kitty, I love pats, cuddles, and sitting in your lap. I am also very playful and have so much fun with a wand toy and playing with Tabby and Moxie. Churu treats are simply the yummiest, so I hope you have a lot of those! I have a great purr and the softest fur.   I definitely am a Maincoon mix. I am about 2 years old, up to date on my vaccinations, neutered, FIV and Felv negative, and microchipped...I mean, what more could you want? I would love to go to a home with a kitty friend, or better yet with Tabby or Moxie (or both!) I think I would do well with kids, as I did well with a 2 year old and 7 year old when I was initially rapped and in a cage. Now that I roam freely, I hide when the kids come in. But I think if I were able to get used to them I would be fine. I have not been introduced to dogs yet. I am a beautiful, loving, playful, kitty and I would love to have you as my family. Percy has been neutered, defleaded, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and had a dental cleaning when he was neutered.   If you are interested in meeting this sweet fella please email us for an application to email adoptions@lbsn.org to request an application. Once we receive your application back, we can set up a time for you to meet him. A donation of $175 is required to adopt him.   April 15, 2024, 6:53 pm

Story
Look no further, you've found me, your ideal kitty! My name is Tabby, and I am a big, mushy, love. I was out on the street for at least 11 months before the lady who was feeding me finally trapped me. I am a big boy who loves attention. I enjoy getting pats and love being brushed. Although I'm not much of a lap cat, I love to sit right beside you and get loves. I am playful, I love wand toys, and playing with my kitty friends. The way to my heart is through Churu treats, which I believe, are the best things on Earth. I get along well with my two kitty friends, Percy and Moxie. I am a healthy boy, FIV and Felv negative, am up to date on my vaccinations, am neutered, and have a microchip. My age is estimated at 3 years old. When I was first caught, my foster kept me in a comfy cage while I was healing from my surgery and acclimating to the other two kitties caught at the same time. While in the cage I was really good with her two kids, 2 and 7 years old...I would let them give me treats and everything. Now that I'm out of the cage, I hide when they come in the room...so I think I would be fine with kids, but just would have to get used to them. As for dogs, I have not been introduced to them yet. I would love a home with a kitty friend, better yet, adopt my friend Percy or Moxie...or all three of us!!! I hope to meet you soon, forever family! Tabs has been neutered, defleaded, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and had a dental cleaning when he was neutered.   If you are interested in meeting this sweet fella please email us for an application to email adoptions@lbsn.org to request an application. Once we receive your application back, we can set up a time for you to meet him. A donation of $175 is required to adopt him. If adoption and his darling brother/buddy (Percy) together we do both for $275.   April 15, 2024, 6:53 pm

Story
Emma is a sweet senior cat that needs to be the only cat in the house. Looking to rehome her with someone that likes to relax at home and cuddle with their pet. All she wants is cuddles, affection and tuna flakes. I am a busy entrepreneur and simply don’t have the time and she also does not get along with the other pets in the home. If you want a sweet, purring kitty to watch TV with, Emma is a great companion. She will take awhile to get used to any changes though. She is very timid and shy and will require patience.

Mickiey is a beautiful and friendly Maine Coon mix. Mickey is being adopted through the San Gabriel Valley Animal Advocates. If you are interested in adopting Mickey, please submit an adoption application at http://www.sgvaa.org and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Your adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all their health and medical needs. Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. We can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) PetSmart. SGVAA is an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue organization serving the San Gabriel Valley area. For more information on how you can help your community, please visit: www.sgvaa.org Their Adoption Process If you are interested in any of our adoptable pets or have additional questions, please fill out an adoption application and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Since we are an all-volunteer organization, it may take us within 24-48 hours to respond. Our little fur babies are so adorable that sometimes we get multiple applications for one pet! So if the pet you are interested in is no longer available there is no need to worry! We have plenty of friends who are furry! As part of the adoption process, we screen each new potential owner, and do home visits to ensure that an animal and owner are a good match. Once your adoption application has been approved, we will have you fill out a Pet Promise Certificate (adoption contract) *SGVAA’s adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all of their health and welfare needs (spay, neuter, shots, deworming, flea meds, microchip) *We also provide free home delivery of your new kitty/kitties! About This Rescue SGVAA is dedicated to the protection and humane treatment of pets in the San Gabriel Valley area. We encourage people to rescue a homeless animal instead of buying one. Our organization also educates the community on the importance of early vaccinations for fatal and easily preventable diseases. We also advocate spaying or neutering to reduce pet overpopulation. Once an animal is in our care we vaccinate all rescues against disease & provide needed health care, fight pet overpopulation by spaying or neutering all rescues, and provide lifetime shelter and care to any rescued animal that is not adopted. Come Meet Their Pets Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. For interested adopters, we can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) Petsmart. We also post pictures of our adorable kitties at sgvaa.org, our Facebook page and on Instagram!

Story
DOB:  11/25/2010 Meet Charlotte, a charming senior lady who's looking for her forever home. This domestic long hair/Maine Coon mix is as sweet as can be with a fluffy brown coat that's just begging to be petted. Despite her age, Charlotte is quite active and loves to come when called, showing off her adorable owl-like appearance and fluffy tail.  She’s spry, yet Charlotte does enjoy her quiet time too, making her a great companion for someone who appreciates peaceful moments together.  Charlotte's been through a lot, losing her previous owner and finding herself at Kitten Rescue. She was closed down when she first arrived, but with love and care, she has bloomed into a loving and people-oriented cat. She's looking for an experienced cat owner who can give her the attention and care she deserves, whether as an only cat or with a calm, older feline friend. If you're ready for a snuggly companion who defies age stereotypes, Charlotte is the one for you! If you are interested in learning more about this kitty or in adopting her, please click here to email her foster parent. If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. If the above links aren't live, our contact form and questionnaire are available on our website at www.kittenrescue.org.For our fees and adoption policies and procedures, please click here.April 10, 2024, 5:50 pm
