Story
Male Room 3 DOB 4/29/25 Maine Coon Mix   Moonlight is a beautiful long hair Maine Coon Mix who feels safest in quiet spaces right now. His curiosity is growing daily . He loves playing with feathered toys and ball towers.   He had a hard start in life but with a patient owner he will blossom into a loyal cat. He enjoys the company of other cats and will have to be in a home with someone that will bring the best out of him. An adult home would do best, with another kitty. Watching him open up a little each day is the kind of magic that reminds you why rescue work matters. Come in to meet him at our cage-free adoption center!  December 6, 2025, 7:44 pm

Story
Gato is a beautiful Maine Coon mix. He is very relaxed once he’s used to his surroundings. Being honest here…He does NOT want to be picked up and will not jump on couch, bed or anything anymore. Strictly stays on the floor and usually puts himself somewhere where he’s safe from being approached like under the table or bed but will come out and roam when it is safe or he is hungry. He is sketchy with loud noises or moving around/above him because of trauma as a kitten. He’s fine with you petting him when it is feeding time though 🤷🏼‍♂️ Was an outdoor cat for nine years, but has been an indoor cat for four years now since I moved. Problem is for 6 months now he’s been missing the cat box when urinating and is peeing all around the area of his box. He’s fine when pooping. Ruining the wood floors. Hate to let him go after 13 yrs but don’t know what else to do. Maybe he’ll change in a new environment 🤷🏼‍♂️

Story
Fozzy Bear is a sweet, playful young Muppet who alternates between zooming after toys and lounging in a sunny window. He enjoys the company of other friendly cats and even helps shy ones come out of their shell. Fozzy is a big boy and likes to be petted, but he’s also quite shy, ready to dart away if unsure. A reassuring voice and gentle hand will help him relax. With patience, he will warm up and show his sweet side, offering soft kisses, graceful poses, and elegant tail swirls.

Story
Hi, I'm Lanie and I am a Maine Coon mix. I am already big for my age so if you are looking for a very big girl, I might be the one for you. My sister is also looking for a home, but we can go to separate homes. My foster moms say that my sister and I like to hide but come out to play and cuddle when they call us. They also said that we are very curious and a little mischievous. If you think I might be the one for you, then please text 424-501-5769 and complete the application online at www.rescuemepets.com/forms

Story
Sweet, beautiful Tabitha was rescued from the streets in the nick of time. Unbeknownst to her, I could see 2 coyotes in my headlights coming straight for her. Tabitha was just happy to see me knowing I was bringing her a meal. I scooped her up and put her in a carrier before she even realized what happened! She's now totally acclimated to the good indoor life. She loves her warm, soft bed and regular meals. Tabitha is a beautiful, petite Main Coon mix with a gorgeous thick coat of long fur. She's only about 8lbs, she's all fluff! Tabitha is very sweet and affectionate but can be very shy at first with new people and places. She needs a patient human that will let her slowly blossom into the love bug that she truly is. Tabitha would do best adopted with her son Tiger KRLA-A-749 as they are bonded and get along together very well. She also gets along with most cats and with a proper introduction may be ok with a cat friendly dog. She would do best in a small, quiet home with just 1-2 adults to dote on her. Story
Basil is a sweet, beautiful cat. We acquired her and her brother from an experienced ragdoll/ragamuffin breeder. She loves to cuddle with you if you are sitting or laying down, adores catnip and is very playful and sweet with kids. She comes to the door when you come home. Only reason we are moving her on is because she does not get along with her brother and we feel she would be happier in another environment with no other animals. She is very anxious around him and is not comfortable. We have had litter box issues off and on specifically pooping right outside of litter box. She is healthy so I attribute this to her being too anxious about her brother and separating them permanently is not an option. She needs a patient owner who is willing to possibly troubleshoot this if it turns out our assumption is wrong but we have tried different litter, boxes, number of boxes, placement, etc. I have seen her brother stalk and/or bite her while she is in the box however.
