Story
Meet Mochi, an adorable, Maine Coon kitten with expressive eyes and gentle demeanor. At six months old, this girl has only begun to grow. Did you know that Maine Coons aren't fully developed until three years of age? This means her mane is only going to fill out and that tail? It's going to be a majestic plume that will be held upright as she struts through this life! Mochi is curious, sweet and highly-social. She'll do best in a home where she can get lots of attention. She'll also need an adopter who understands how important it will be to keep her coat brushed - to avoid knotting. She was rescued from the mean streets and we suspect someone abandoned her after moving away. You'll find her rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #35 on our Facebook page: Save The Leadwell Kitties. That's where we document ALL our rescued cats and kittens - including updates from fosters and adopters. Mochi's adoption will include her: * Spay surgery, * De-worming, * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination (if old enough), * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * and Microchipping! ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making Mochi a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair! *** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates). Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!

Story
Fozzy Bear (born May 2024) is a sweet Muppet who loves to alternate play with lounging in a sunny window. Fozzy has a sweet but dominant spirit and would do best with youthful cats. He likes to play with his pal Benji and his little sister Malina who are also available for adoption. He would also be fine with all of the attention as a solo cat. He can be a rascal and gives love bites when overstimulated, yet he is also well mannered. If you sleep in, he will come and find you and snooze quietly until you are ready to join him in the day. An adult household would work best for Fozzy as he was rescued as a very shy kitten and remains a bit sensitive to loud noises and abrupt movement. With a soft and fluffy black coat, Fozzy will need an owner who understands long hair breed needs. The reward is amazing poses complete with elegant tail swirls. For a big boy, he has the sweetest mew. Fozzy Bear is truly a very cool kid.

Story
Beautiful Tiger Lily (3 years old) is loving and calm. Shout out to local vets, Cornelius Pet Hospital and Ojai Humane, who fixed a hernia she had been living with for a long time. Relinquished to us due to housing issues, we brought her in for all of her treatment. Needless to say, she is a survivor and is now in great health. She loves to play. Her favorite activity is chasing feather wands and running through a crinkly cat tunnel. She also loves watching cat TV. Not a mean bone in Tiger Lily's body. She has a lot of love to give because she is a sweetheart. Tiger Lily loves other cats and people. She deserves a comfy and safe home where she can explore and become the queen she was destined to be. I love helping her, but she is bullied by a couple of my crew... I had to rescue her but need to find her a home as this foster sanctuary is full up. Please reach out.... Adoption fee will include microchip.

Story
Hi, I'm Lanie and I am a Maine Coon mix. I am already big for my age so if you are looking for a very big girl, I might be the one for you. My sister is also looking for a home, but we can go to separate homes. My foster moms say that my sister and I like to hide but come out to play and cuddle when they call us. They also said that we are very curious and a little mischievous. If you think I might be the one for you, then please text 424-501-5769 and complete the application online at www.rescuemepets.com/forms
