Story
Meet Bentley! 🐾 This handsome 3-year-old is currently in foster care and ready to find his forever home — and honestly, he's been way too patient waiting for the right family to notice him. Bentley is fully vetted and microchipped, so he's all set on the practical stuff. What he really needs is a home that gets him — and here's what that looks like: 🐱 He would like a cat companion. Bentley does best with another cat in the house. He pays attention, learns from them, and genuinely doesn't like being alone. Got a resident kitty? Bentley just might be their new best friend. 🎾 He lives for playtime. Wand toys, tunnels, more tunnels — this boy has opinions about enrichment and they are correct. If you love an active, playful cat, Bentley will keep you entertained. 🍽️ He knows what he likes. Bentley prefers minced or flaked Fancy Feast (and the Brothers brand), though some days he's strictly a dry food guy. Lickables and treats? Always a yes. 🛋️ He's not a lap cat — but he's your cat. He won't be glued to you on the couch, but he absolutely wants your attention and will come ask for it on his own terms. Respect the vibe, and you'll have a devoted companion. ✅ Bonus: Perfect litter box habits. Uses scratch pads like a gentleman. Bentley deserves a home where he can truly thrive — please share his post and help us find his people! 💙

Story
It breaks my heart to say this, but I’m looking for a loving new home for my 3-year-old cat, Kane Bowers. ❤️ She is truly a little character! She’s spoiled, a little greedy when it comes to food 😂, she she can definitely let you know when she’s not getting her way. She can be quite the whiner, but that’s part of her adorable personality. She loves to cuddle, play, and be around her people. She has so much love to give and would make a wonderful companion for someone who can give her the attention and affection she deserves. Unfortunately, she sheds quite a bit, and my allergies have gotten to the point where I’m no longer able to comfortably keep her. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and I want to make sure she goes to someone who will love and care for her as much as I have. I’m looking for a safe, loving, and permanent home for her. ❤️ Please reach out if you’re genuinely interested and able to give this sweet, spoiled girl the life she deserves. 🐱💕

Story
Zion (originally named Jett) is a sweet little guy. He loves a snuggle here and there and likes to jump around to play with his toys. I am only rehoming him because I work far away and I think he is spending too much time at home alone. He seems to be sad when I return. He has lots of items, a water fountain, auto feeder, playpen, carrying bag, little 2 story bed, scratch pole, and lots of little toys. I think he will do very well with a family where someone would be home with him more often. I will be sure to send him away with litter and litter box as well as the food he has gotten used to eating (dry and wet).

Story
f you would like an application or have any questions, please send an email to us at: info@ht-ac.org Ramona was rescued as a stray in Hartford, where she was abandoned by her owners and had been living underneath a ramp outside of a convenience store on the corner of two very busy streets for two years. She is currently in a loving foster home in Berlin. After she settles in, Ramona loves nothing more than to snuggle on a lap and get all of the hugs and kisses she wants. She is very affectionate, and drools when she's particularly happy. She does not trust other animals, and needs to be an only pet in a calm household without young children. She is 3 years old, and has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped.

Xiomara and Cintra will be attending an ADOPTION EVENT on Sunday, August 30 from 1-3 pm on the North Shore Animal League adoption bus, which will be parked in front of Petco, 188 Kitts Lane in Newington, CT. Please stop by for a visit! If you would like an application or have any questions, please send an email to us at: info@ht-ac.org Xiomara (brown tabby) and Cintra (grey tabby) were rescued as strays, and are in a foster home in Waterbury with other cats. Xiomara LOVES to play, and gets along very well with other cats. She will walk up to any cat, chirp, and give them a head bump to see if they wanna be friends. She is shy initially, and will require patience. Cintra is affectionate and friendly, and likes to cuddle up next to her favorite people in bed or on the couch. She is not fond of being picked up. She gets along with other cats, as long as they are friendly towards her. They are chill kitties, and may be fine with cat-savvy kids aged seven and up. They are bonded and should be adopted as a pair. They are one year old, and have been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The adoption fee is $500 for both cats as a pair.

Story
We are looking for a loving home for our very affectionate and bright cat named Bianco. He is very smart, friendly, loving, playful and loves to hang out when watching TV. He does give out his little paw when saying hello at times and he just loves to cuddle. Emotionally this has been soooo very hard and we are hoping to find him a calm, caring home where he will be truly loved. Bianco deserves a family who can give him more affection and attention than we are currently able to provide. He is healthy and up to date with all his medical records, happy to share them upon request.Bianco was born May 2012 and I adopted him from the Branford Compassion Club, Branford CT back in March of 2013. He is up to date on his shots and goes to the vet for his regular check-ups.Please feel free to reach out to me for questions

Story
Two males both bonded since young (they are now 1&2 years old) Ginger, sweet and loving, the one year old is a little more easily scared and takes a little longer to adjust than the 2 year old. They have been around big and small dogs as well as babies and toddlers(I now have a 17 month old). They are litter box trained and very strict/clean cats and need their litter box tended to daily. Extremely sweet, love making biscuits, they are cuddly when laying down or chilling they love love. Mufasa (1 year old, darker) is more energetic, a little skiddish to loud noises, likes to play in boxes, scratch posts, and chasing things. Milo (lighter, 2 years old) likes to lay down, get rubbed on and eat. he will play with mufasa and likes to chase people when playing but wont initiate. (If you stare at him too long he thinks you’re initiating). Both love to eat a lot but I try to only let them eat twice a day (maybe 3). Looking for a calm, loving home for them whos patient
