Story
Meet Ditto, the buff and white cuddle Pokémon with a big personality and an even bigger love for snacks! This round little sweetheart is food motivated, attention motivated, and pretty much motivated by anything that involves being adored. Ditto loves belly rubs, toys, and playtime with his siblings. One of his signature moves is flopping dramatically onto his back for pets… then realizing getting back up is a whole side quest. With his playful spirit, silly charm, and snuggly nature, Ditto is ready to use Transform and become your perfect little best friend. He would like to be adopted into a home with a kitty friend to play with! ----- The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around May 8th, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet. Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care. We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport. Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption. We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason. For the application - please visit https://thekittenproject.org/adopt/form-adopter-info?petName=Ditto

Story
This is my sweet baby Olive. I’ve had her for about two years. She loves to be held and be near you. I’ll be traveling a lot coming up and she gets stressed when I leave causing her to pee on my couch when I’m away. When I’m not traveling she’s great about using the litter box. Would probably do best in a home with kids or elderly couple who is home often. She’s so sweet, never had an aggression problem. Willing to answer any questions!

Story
Adopted him from the ATL Humane society as a friend for my female Tuxedo cat, but after trying to spend time to adjust I don't think he is a good fit and needs a home where he is either the only cat, or the adopter has experience assimilating cats to multi-cat households. He also has some issues with anxiety and is on the medication, Gabapetin, which I will provide the new adopter with the remaining meds he has. Its given orally as a powder that can be mixed with treats. He's very energetic and loves to play and I can provide some of his favorite toys to make adjustment easier. He definitely needs to be around other confident and energetic cats like himself, I would not recommend putting him together if other animals are shy or reservedI'd love for him to go to a home that will give him the proper space and attention he deserves. He's still very young ~2 years old so he'd be a great addition for kids to grow up around and play with.

Story
Meet Monroe! Aka Monty! An old man name for a cat with a very old soul. Monroe is my heart. We picked him up from Monroe, Georgia, as a little kitten on February 6, 2021. He's around 5 years old, now, and he's got a lot of life to live. Monroe is a spoiled indoor cat. He's had many opportunities to slip through our cracked front door over the years, but prefers simple luxuries like A/C and consistent meals. It's amusing to watch him contemplate the great outdoors and almost shake his head no - too self-aware, and too much of a scaredy cat to entertain the thought for long. Monroe is an anxious cat. He's slow to trust, and takes some coaxing out. But once he likes you, he's a ride or die. He is so full of love. I hope it comes across in the pictures. His eyes are so tender. I pray there's a lucky person out there who will get the opportunity to see that for themselves. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Story
Got him and his brother together. I was told they were born around July early August.. I would prefer they go as a pair.. They came from a harsh household and it has been a challenge getting them to adjust.. Very shy and scared due to the environment they came from.

Story
Sweet Nash and Knox are looking for a new home. They are both 6 year old shorthair cats. They are super friendly and sweet cats who love to cuddle with each other and their owners. They are fully indoor cats. They will need to be rehomed together and cannot be separated. I’m only rehoming due to being in college and cannot keep them due to my busy schedule with school.

Story
Hi everyone! I’m looking to rehome a sweet but anxious young kitty. She’s about a year old, and I haven’t had her very long, but it’s become clear she would do best in a calmer home.I have two very energetic cats, and it unfortunately stresses her out since she still doesn’t get along with them. She is incredibly loving, sleeps on my chest every night and curls up in my lap whenever I sit down, but she’s very skittish and easily scared by loud noises or busy environments. She would thrive in a quiet home with lots of patience and attention but no dogs. I just want her somewhere she can feel safe and comfortable. Message me if you think you might be a good fit 💛
