Story
Ventus is a one-of-a-kind cat with a quirky personality that keeps things interesting in the best way. He is very food-motivated, which makes him highly responsive during feeding time and a great candidate for continued positive reinforcement training. Ventus is also very communicative—he is not shy about expressing how he feels and uses a variety of vocal cues and body language to let you know what he wants or when he needs space. Once he is comfortable, his playful and affectionate side begins to shine through, showing just how engaging and entertaining he can be. Ventus would do best in a patient, understanding home that appreciates a cat with personality, humor, and a strong sense of individuality.

Story
I’m Belle, a perfect southern gal. I spent the first 8 years of my life loving one person, only to get dumped when he decided he liked his new girlfriend more than me….his loss, your gain obviously. A sweet, people-loving, and well mannered girl, I know how to do companionship right. I’m affectionate without being clingy and loyal without the drama (other than your typical cat drama…like knocking your pen on the floor for fun or acting like a ham for more pets). Not crazy about cats or dogs of kids, I just prefer to be the star of the show. I’m looking to live my golden years in style, often crossing my legs like a true lady—warm blankets, luxurious couches, cat tree perches, and cozy laps. All I need is someone smart enough not to mess it up this time! Can I be your southern Belle? -Reach out to meet me ASAP. -Arrange to see me at PetSmart 2902 S Shepherd Dr Sat and Sun 1130-4p.

Story
HER RELAXED DISPOSITION MAKES HER AN EASY CAT TO LOVE  DOB 6/18/23 Hey there, everyone! I’m Amber, a sweet, gentle, laid-back red tabby Maine Coon mix gal with enchanting green eyes and a fluffy plume for a tail. I let calmness and peace reign supreme as I keep Foster Meowmy company by lounging nearby as she works at her computer or watches TV. I’m not a lap cat per se because I don’t cling like Velcro to my hooman, but I am quite content to remain conveniently close by. I was a friendly stray, probably someone’s abandoned pet, who birthed my red-tabby daughters, Blaze and Ember, in the common area of Foster Meowmy’s condo complex, and I kept them safe under a car that hadn’t moved in a while. Thank heavens for Ring cameras because that’s how Foster Meowmy first spotted me and my little family. After she began feeding us, she was able eventually to bring us all to the safe haven of her home. Since genetically it’s so unusual for 3 red tabbies to be female, she gave us fire-themed names and started referring to us as the Fuego Group. Whereas Blaze and Ember are full of fiery kitten energy, I remind her of a calm, steady flame. Because my previous owner had obviously dumped me outside, I was initially rather shy. Once Foster Meowmy convinced me that she would not abandon me, it wasn’t long before my loving personality began to shine! Actually Foster Meowmy was surprised at how trusting we all were when she bathed us, and we were certainly more comfortable when she treated us with meds so that our fleas and ear mites no longer bothered us! Brimming food and water bowls, indoor climate control -- I could go on and on about how relieved I was to have kissed the hardscrabble life goodbye. Now that I’ve permanently retired from motherhood, I’m ready to bring my calm, gentle heart to slowly fan the flames of peace and joy in my forever family. I recently heard Foster Meowmy tell a friend, “Amber’s laid-back nature makes her an easy cat to love!” Although I haven’t been around kids, dogs, or other resident cats in my foster home, Foster Meowmy expects that I would take meeting them in stride, as long as the proper protocol for introductions is followed. Arrange to meet me today! My relaxed temperament is just what you need to lower your blood pressure! HOPE ID 26-0616-G111                       Amber’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
ALL SHE WANTS IS TO LOVE AND BE LOVED  DOB 8/15/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Micha, an outgoing yet gentle, affectionate, and cuddly brown tabby Maine Coon mix gal with a fluffy tail who loves being close to Foster Meowmy so I can soak up all of her strokes on my back and scratches on my ears. My heart's desire is very simple – someone for me to love and someone to love me back. That’s what makes my world go round. Foster Meowmy testifies that I love with an intensity that only a rescued kitty can love. You see, Meowmy found my sister Noche and me as friendly 10-month-old strays who were wandering around in her apartment complex. We were trying to survive after our owner left us behind when she moved out. I recently heard Meowmy tell someone, “From the very first day that I found beautiful Micha, I saw something incredibly special about her.” Even though my owner had discarded me like trash, I was still amazingly trusting and loving toward hoomans. As Meowmy scooped Noche and me up to take us to the safe haven of her home, she whispered in my ear that she would find me the forever family whom I truly deserve. And I believe her!! Now I’m ready to bring my sweet, gentle personality, loyal love, and endless purrs to that forever family. Foster Meowmy says that I am so well-adjusted that I will easily fit into a home with kids, other cats, and even dogs! Unlike my past hooman, will you hold up your end of the bargain by cherishing me as your beloved companion and by keeping me safe like I deserve? Arrange to meet me today! I know that my big, green eyes will captivate your heart the moment our eyes meet. HOPE ID 26-0515-G092 Micha’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
Despite her name, Hellcat is actually a very sweet girl who is very good with kids. She was found in the middle of a construction site when she was a kitten and her spicyness is what earned her the name, Hellcat. She is almost 8 years old now and has mellowed out considerably but is very vocal when it comes to things she doesn't like. She loves treats, wet food, and playing with rat shaped toys. Her special need is that she is allergic to fleas. They make her break out and scratch a lot to the point that she can tear her fur out if it gets bad enough. Other than that, she is a very mild natured cat who adores sun bathing. She can be a little sassy too but that's all forgiven when it gets cold and she cuddles under the sheets. I'm hoping she finds a home as either the only cat or with others. She doesn't need a lot and will be a very sweet, loyal companion with people who will treat her like the princess she is.

Story
Freya is a very shy, timid cat who tends to only warm up to one person at a time. Once she does however, she becomes really cuddly and will even cuddle in your arms when it's time to sleep. (No guarantee she'll stay the whole night though.) She tolerates other cats but prefers to be on her own a lot. She loves to lay down on the floor and will often study people from a distance. Freya is not a fan of loud noises and does not like dogs. She does love treats but is not a big foodie. Please be patient with her as she takes her time to get to know people. Once she likes you, she's very obvious with it and will make a lovely lap cat.
