Meet Charlie 💙 This is incredibly hard for us to write, but we are hoping to find the perfect home for our sweet dog, Charlie. Charlie is a well-behaved, very friendly, and incredibly loving dog. He adores people, enjoys companionship, and has the kindest, gentlest soul. He has been a wonderful part of our family. As much as we love him, we have a one-year-old at home and two very busy parents, and we’re heartbroken to admit that we can’t give Charlie the time and attention he truly deserves. Our goal is to find him a family who can. Charlie is diabetic and does very well with his care routine. He receives insulin twice a day, which he handles calmly and reliably. He also has decreased vision, but he is not blind and gets around comfortably in familiar spaces. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations and currently has pet insurance. This is not a decision made lightly. We are deeply sad to be parting ways with Charlie.

Otto came to us after finding it tough to share space with a toddler. Honestly, we get it - being a toddler himself, Otto just wasn't ready for the grabby hands and constant attention. He's a sensitive soul with a strong sense of self. Sometimes he's the life of the party, and other times he's off with his doggie crew doing important dog things (read: zoomies, stick inspection, tail-chasing strategy meetings). Playtime? I am timid but sweet once I get to know you, I am very shy. I live with other dogs at the rescue, so I am ok with dogs, again it takes me some time to trust. I have been with rescue a long time because I suffer from some type of doggie vertigo and get car sick really easy, I always have since I was a puppy, so its hard for most families who enjoy taking their pup traveling. Its better now than it was when I was little but I still am nervous in the car. I need a loving patient family to open their hearts and home to allow me time to get to know you... Could that be you?? I was rescued from Lancaster, our humans didn't want us babies and gave us away and kept my Mama (Chihuahua) and Daddy (Maltese). I had siblings but they gave them away to other people instead of the rescue...
