This Lab/Maltipoo mix is as sweet and lovable as can be!  She has a very friendly disposition as well as lots of puppy energy.  Noelle loves her treats, cuddling next to you and taking naps after playing.  While a little shy at first, Noelle is happy to get to know new people.  She is dog friendly.  We are working with her on house training and other puppy basics.  She does well in her crate. Story
Hi there! My name is Jolly! I am a Lab/Maltipoo Mix. Born on 10/30/25 I’m an 11 pound bundle of joy looking for my forever family. I may be small, but my heart is very big! I’m sweet, snuggly and full of puppy energy!  I’m working on my house training, and other puppy skills.  I’d love a family who will shower me with love, teach me all the puppy basics, and have plenty of time for cuddles and playtime.  I’m still learning about the world, so I’ll need a little patience as I grow into the best dog I can be. If you’re ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and tail wags, I can’t wait to meet you! Let’s make some paw-some memories together.  February 1, 2026, 5:42 pm

Adoption Donation  $ 699 Located:  RI (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx 10 months old Weight:  15  lbs.   FENCED YARD REQUIRED Heidi is very shy and uncertain of people at first. She loves outdoor playtime with another dog her size in a securely fenced yard as she is a flight risk.  Once you have her in your arms and she has developed trust for you, she will let you snuggle her. She would do best in a home with another dog.  If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  cratier24@gmail.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If the initials following the animals name are a state, then that is the state where the animal is located. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) reserves the right to deny any adoption application with or without disclosure of cause. Story
Name: Reina Nicknames: Reina Marie Breed: Maltese/Maltese mix Sex: Female Age: ~7 Weight: 10 lbs. Before OMD/Medical: Animal Control seized 37 dogs from a hoarding situation (dogs were kept in a barn in filthy conditions) and reached out for help. Reina was one of the last dogs left at animal control from the case and we took her and her housemate, Pancake, into rescue. She saw our vet right away for a mammary tumor and suspected UTI, but x-rays revealed a massive bladder stone that took up almost her entire bladder (we can only imagine the discomfort she had been in..and for goodness knows how long!). She had the mammary tumor removed (and confirmed benign) and stone also removed, along with a dental cleaning. Energy Level: Low to medium. Overall very mellow, but has moments of play and zoomies. Descriptors: Cuddly. Affectionate. Loving. Sweet. Shy when meeting new people, but warms up quick once she feels comfortable. Velco level: High. Wants to sit beside you or on your lap at all times. What we love most: The way she continuously waves her front paws in the air when she is very excited. Her before-bed-time zoomies on the bed. How she loves to be loved. What she loves most: Snuggling with her people. Being outside (although she tries to eat everything in the grass in a rooting fashion). Barking at the TV if she hears a dog. What she doesn’t love: Being left alone(read: she will bark for a bit, and she would not be a good fit for a shared walls environment). The car. Moonlights as: A Seal when excited, an anteater when out in the yard. Basic commands: None tbh, but she knows her name! House trained: Not totally (unsurprising, given her history as a hoarding dog and with long-term bladder stones) but making progress! She does ngo outside and sometimes on pads, but will also go on rugs Crate trained: Nope. Reina does not like to be crated, and is currently left out when alone. Dogs: She loves all the dogs in her foster home, but she needs to eat separately and has been known to resource guard foster mom's lap. Kids: We think she would be just fine with dog savvy kids. Cats: Yes as long as the cat is dog-savvy. Currently fostered with cats and, overall, does very well, but they do get her worked up at times Ideal home: A family who will continue her prescription food to prevent recurring bladder stones. A family who is happy to treat her like a little princess and share their laps. Preferably a home where her people are home more often than away. Everything is new for Reina, so a patient home would be ideal. Reina is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is available for adoption to residents of Connecticut and surrounding states. If interested in adopting, please complete an application from omdrescue.org

Story
Meet Roxie, a tiny, wiggly bundle of joy who truly believes she was put on this earth to love you. At just one year old, Roxie is all kisses, cuddles, and happy little zoomies on her short legs. She has that magical kind of sweetness that makes you smile the second you meet her—the kind of dog who crawls right into your heart (and probably your lap) and never wants to leave. Check her cute self out on her YouTube video https://youtu.be/0QK0aZHvL_0?si=9dIHfBIH0ercAL6O Roxie is a one-year-old Maltese / Yorkshire Terrier mix, and she is super small with the cutest short legs and the most playful, silly personality. She absolutely loves affection, giving kisses, cuddling close, soaking up love, and returning it tenfold. She’s a happy little girl who just wants to be near her people. She’s also very playful and goofy, and watching her run around is guaranteed to make you laugh. Roxie loves toys, playtime, and having fun—especially with other dogs. Big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between (from tiny 12-pound pals to gentle 80-pound giants), Roxie adores them all. She loves to play, snuggle, and be everyone’s little best friend. She currently lives with foster siblings and has an absolute blast—she’s social, friendly, and full of joy. Roxie is wonderful with people of all kinds and even does great with cats! She met the resident house cat and was very respectful, gave a polite sniff, and then happily went on about her business like the good little lady she is. If you’re looking for a tiny dog with a huge heart, a playful companion who also loves to cuddle, and a best friend who will adore you endlessly, Roxie might just be your perfect match.
