Potty trainer: Yes, if taken out regularly Cats: no Kids: Respectful 10+ with dog experience Fenced Yard: REQUIRED, securely attached to the home. **Must be an experienced dog owner. **Please read entire bio** ******Please make sure to read the entire bio of the pet you're interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pet's needs. ******* PLEASE NOTE: LOOK OVER YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE HITTING SUBMIT, AS INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CLOSED. Hi I'm Tilly, a sweet, happy, and smart 4 yr old Maltese mix gal ready for my furever home. I've had some bumps in my life, please read my original post a little further down our page about that. A little about me. I am a super cuddle bug who absolutely loves her humans. I love to dance and spin around when I'm excited. I just wiggle my butt and spin in circles when I know that you are home, or when we are getting ready to go o-u-t-s-i-d-e. I love going on brisk short walks, playing chase, and getting all the belly rubs I can, but my favorite thing in the world is sitting close to my human, like thisclose! Ha! I'm looking for a home where the human(s) are home more often than not, a work from home or retired family would be best for me. I am crate and potty trained, as long as I'm taken out regularly. I'm learning not to pull on the leash and bark to alert you of any movement, when we go on walks, and I need a patient Mommy or Daddy (or both!) to teach me more leash manners. I also love running around in the fenced in yard. I am a great lizard hunter, and will keep your yard free of squirrels, so its important that a human is there to watch over me. I love stuffies, and your stuffie is my stuffie, but a chew bone is quite welcome too. I am also a great guard dog and look out the window to keep you all safe from delivery workers and traveling salesmen. Ha! I had a rough start in my previous life, and my foster mommy has been working real hard with me to be the bestest puppers so that I can find my fur ever family. Maybe thats you? I sure hope so! If you know I'm the girl for you, just visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Dont forget to put my name, Tilly, on that paper. lol..Hope to meet you soon! More about Tilly: Tilly is good with the other dogs in the foster home, as long as she is the lead/alpha, she is being exposed to puppies and small dogs and is happy to watch them. We would do best as your one and only. Tilly does express herself with her voice on walks and well as home and can get barky sometimes. She wants everyone to notice her and say hi, so she will require a single family home, no condos, apartments, townhouse or any home with shared walls. Thank you for understanding, as this is whats best for her. She is the lead dog on the walks and will try to correct the other pups should they try to be the lead pup. Tiilly is spayed, current on her vaccinations, microchipped and current with flea and heartworm prevention. She will require grooming every 4-6 weeks, and grooming can run anywhere from $60.00-$120.00 per visit, so keep that in mind with your budget too! She does great with grooming and is patient in the bath. Does this sound like the girly for you? If so, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If youve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and numbers for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pet's estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio of the pet youre interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pet's needs. Thank you for thinking rescue. Story
Toby is an adorable and sweet dog. We have had him for 9 years since he was 8 weeks old. My father is blind and is living with me. Toby is playful and often gets in my dad’s way causing him to trip. Unfortunately a few months ago, Toby was diagnosed with diabetes and a heart murmur. Just a few days ago, I noticed a change in his vision. With my work schedule, dad’s health condition, and financial situation (single parent) I am unable to continue to care for Toby. It breaks my heart but I am looking for a caring and loving home for my Toby.I am able to bring Toby anywhere in the US.

This tiny little girl is proof that the sweetest angels can have the BIGGEST energy!   Daisy Mae has a temperament that is absolutely angel-like. She is soooo sweet, so much fun, and loves everyone she meets! She adores kids, gets along with other dogs, and is happiest when she’s sharing her love with the people around her.   But don’t let that sweet little face fool you… this girl has ZOOMIES for DAYS! Daytime zoomies? ✔️ Nighttime zoomies? ✔️ This tiny ball of fluff has energy to spare and is always ready for her next adventure!   Want to go for a walk? Daisy Mae is GREAT on a leash! Just don’t expect her to be thrilled about hanging out in a crate. That’s definitely not her favorite place! She’d much rather be out with her people, enjoying life and spreading love. She is also still working on potty training.    One thing we absolutely love about Daisy Mae is how cooperative she is! She takes her medications like a champ and even let us bathe her, groom her, AND blow-dry her without a fuss! ✂️ What a good girl!   GOOD NEWS! DAISY MAE CAN BE ADOPTED NOW!   Daisy Mae will need to be spayed at one of our vet locations: Riverview, St Pete, Sarasota or Wesley Chapel. Her spay will complete all of her remaining medical care!   ✨ Daisy Mae is looking for:   A family ready for puppy-like energy and plenty of playtime! Kids to love and entertain. A home with other friendly dogs or a family ready to make her their one and only. Someone to take her on walks and adventures. A family ready to give this tiny sweetheart all the love, attention, and snuggles her little heart desires!   If you’re looking for a little companion who will keep you laughing, fill your home with love, and keep you on your toes with her endless zoomies, Daisy Mae might just be YOUR girl!   Apply: 4luckydogs.org   Please share to help Daisy Mae find her happily-ever-after!   #4LuckyDogsPetRescue #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #MalteseLove #TinyButMighty #ForeverHomeWantedVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 29, 2026, 8:53 am

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Gir! 🐾💚 I’m a 6-year-old Chinese Crested/Maltese mix with a gentle little heart, a quiet personality, and a love for all things cozy! If you're looking for a peaceful companion who enjoys relaxing, taking naps, and living life at a slower pace, I might just be your perfect match! 🥹💚 Now, I have to admit something… I'm a little shy. The world can feel pretty overwhelming sometimes, and I'm still learning that everything is going to be okay. New situations can make me nervous, and I don't always know how to express myself when I'm feeling scared. But underneath my timid personality is a very sweet little boy who just needs someone willing to give him the time, patience, and understanding he deserves. 💚 I'm not the kind of dog who needs constant excitement, long adventures, or a busy schedule. In fact, my favorite activity in the whole world is probably something we can all appreciate… SLEEPING! 😴🐾 Seriously, give me a comfortable bed, a peaceful room, and a quiet afternoon, and I'm one happy little guy! My foster says I'm so calm and quiet that sometimes they completely forget I'm even there while they're working from home! 🤣 I don't bark much, I don't cause trouble, and I'm perfectly content spending my day relaxing in my favorite cozy spot. I'm also a very good eater! Mealtime is something I can always look forward to, and I have no problem enjoying my food. And guess what? I get along with other dogs, too! 🐶💚 Big dogs, small dogs… I'm comfortable around both! I'm a gentle, submissive boy who doesn't need to be the center of attention. I would be happy sharing a peaceful home with another friendly dog who respects my space. But here's something important about me… I'm still adjusting emotionally. My foster says I seem sad sometimes, and I need a little extra space to feel comfortable. I may not immediately run up to you asking for attention or want to be involved in everything happening around me. And that's okay. I just need someone who understands that trust takes time. Someone who won't rush me, overwhelm me, or expect me to become a completely different dog overnight. I have so much potential to become a wonderful companion, but I need to feel safe first. 🥹💚 I'm already crate trained and have good house manners! I'm not destructive, and I do well spending time quietly on my own. I'm also making progress with potty training, although I still need some additional practice and consistency. Leash training is another thing I'm working on, so my future family will need to be patient while I continue learning. The good news is that I have a very laid-back personality, and I don't require constant attention or entertainment. My foster believes I could do well with someone who works long hours, as long as my daily care and potty needs are met. I'm comfortable relaxing independently and don't mind having some quiet time to myself. My dream home would be with a small family of one to three people who enjoy a peaceful lifestyle. I'd especially love a home without young children, since sudden movements, loud noises, and lots of excitement can make me nervous. A home with adults or calm, respectful children over 10 would be the best fit for me. I don't need a huge house or a big backyard, either! An apartment, townhome, or house would be perfectly fine as long as I have a comfortable place to rest and a family who understands my needs. ✨ My ideal home: 💚 A calm, quiet household with one to three people 💚 Adults or a family with gentle, respectful children over 10 💚 A patient family who understands that I need time to build trust 💚 A cozy bed and plenty of peaceful places to relax 💚 A friendly, calm dog sibling could be a wonderful companion 💚 Someone willing to continue helping me with potty and leash training 💚 A home without too much noise, chaos, or overwhelming activity 💚 A family who will give me space when I need it and affection when I'm ready 💌 A word from my foster: "Gir is such a sweet, calm little dog. He's still very sad and needs his space, but he really is a wonderful boy. He's so laid-back that sometimes I forget he's even there while I'm working from home! He loves spending time in his bed, doesn't bark, eats well, and gets along with other dogs. He gets scared easily, so he would do best in a peaceful home with someone who understands that he needs time and patience. He deserves a family who will let him adjust at his own pace and give him the love and understanding he needs." I know I might not be the first dog to run up and greet you with kisses or jump into your arms. I might be a little quiet at first. I might need some time to understand that I'm finally home. But I hope someone out there will see past my shyness and recognize the sweet little soul underneath. 🥹💚 I don't need a perfect family or an exciting lifestyle. I just need a safe place to rest, someone who will be gentle with me, and the chance to feel loved without being rushed. Maybe one day, with enough patience and kindness, I'll learn that I don't have to be scared anymore. If you're looking for a quiet, gentle, easygoing little companion and have the patience to help a shy dog feel safe and loved… I'm your Gir! 🐾💚 Adoption FEE: $350, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.
