No large dogs GOOD WITH KIDS: Not recommended GOOD WITH CATS: Not recommend COLOR: White FENCED YARD: Required, she is very nervous on the leash, because she’s so small, she will need supervision when in yard at all times. **We will verify ALL information on your application, any incomplete applications will be closed** We’re excited to share a great “pup”date on our sweet Daisy! Hey friends, it’s me, Daisy, and wow, do I have an update for you! Fact is, when I first met the volunteers at VIP Rescue, I was scared, reserved, shy, frightened easily because I had never known the life I was being introduced to. The doctor visits, the collar, harness and leash, the walks, the schedule, even the loving outreach from all the strangers on my first outing at a doggie event, it was just all new, unknown and very overwhelming. My foster mommy said it was good for me to get out and about, but I wasn’t as sure as she was! “Mom” kept at it, and well, I have to admit, it’s working and really kinda nice getting “out and about.” Since those initial days, foster mom has introduced me to so much, so now I’m not so overwhelmed. You could say I am in a whole new place in my new life, and I’m really liking it! Foster mom says I am now living the life a dog deserves, but she says I can’t stay here forever, because there are others just like me that need a safe place to land and to learn about all the great things life has to offer a pupper like me and get a loving family of their own, like I’m going to get! 🐾❤️ So now, I am looking for my forever home. One that I deserve, want and really need. As you may have read, I didn’t have this kind of life before. I pretty much spent my life in a crate, and guess what? Since these rescue folks took me in, I haven’t been in a crate at all except on my terms and to go on car rides because I’m such a good girl! I’m learning to go potty outside or sometimes I go on the potty pads that she has next to the back door. Foster mom has me on a schedule, when we go outside, I do my business, I get a treat and the when we come in I have free roam of the whole house. If foster mom isn’t home to stick to her schedule, potty pads are my backup plan. My precision isn’t always perfect, doesn’t matter, because foster mom still says that I’m a good girl! On that note, let’s talk about schedules. Mine, and yours. Let’s start with mine. Prior to coming to VIP, I wasn’t fed appropriately. Whether it was because it wasn’t enough, was too infrequently, was not in a safe or clean environment, or maybe it was because I used to get bullied by a bigger dog in the house at mealtime, my point is, my new meal time schedule is the jam 💃 🐾 and I participate in the jam appropriately by dancing on my back feet, paws in the air, and then spinning in circles in anticipation of my chow. I eat nearby my other canine housemate friends, but foster mom is on watch duty and she doesn’t let anyone get in my bowl. Truth is, I can’t get in their bowl either! Mom watches us all like a hawk. That’s good because I don’t have to worry about another pup eating my yummies. Now, about your schedule. I really like company, I don’t mind the fact you have things to do, and I will chill out by your side while you do things like computer work, gardening, cooking/baking, laundry and crafting. But please, I’m not a loner. I lived that life, and I am flourishing in an active house, that has normal and predictable routines and schedules. I’m chill with you leaving me for short times but don’t leave me hours on end. I need exercise, sunshine, fresh air, love and nurturing. (And timely meals please). Have other pets? No problem, as long as they aren’t an “alpha” type pup and don’t bully me around like what was done to me previously. Foster mom has introduced me to more dogs than I can count and I’m a big fan of all her canine friends, both fosters and her forever “fur” kids. I don’t have to be the head of the pack, but I have learned my confidence and I’m not a pushover anymore either. Foster mom says I’m adorable, and quite frankly, I have to agree. I have a new pep to my step I didn’t have when I got here and every morning I am excited to see what I will learn or experience for the day. I’m unusually playful for my age (estimated 7’ish years DOB 2018). I love toys, especially the stuffed ones, with crunchies or squeakies inside. I’ve got this goofy underbite with crooked teeth going on but foster mom says it just adds to my cuteness. She’s convinced me that I am adorable, and I deserve a forever family. Foster mom says I am not barky. I just bark at the normal dog stuff, but I’m probably not an apartment/condo dog though because I love the freedom of a fenced in yard and all the sniffies, and don’t forget, I’m still working hard on my leash skills. “Mom” goes at my pace and so far, my pace has me sprinting right into my search for my forever family. The ideal home for Daisy is a quieter adult only home with someone who is definitely home more often than not, ideally a retiree or an adult that works from home. With a secure fenced yard attached to the home. She is a sweetie, but will need time and patience to continue building her confidence and trust in her humans. Also something to keep in mind is that she will require regular grooming which can run anywhere from $60.00 and up for each session, so please be prepared in your budget for that very important expense. Daisy has been spayed, had a recent dental, is current on her vaccines and also on her monthly flea and heartworm prevention. Might she be the gal for you? If so, please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application! VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 12-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pet’s estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue. As always, if you have any questions at all, feel free to email us at info@ viprescue.org Applications are found on our website VIPRescue.org Direct link: https://viprescue.org/daisy-redingotn-beach/ Application form: https://viprescue.org/application-to-adopt

Story
****IMPORTANT INFO - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING**** 🧚‍♀️✨ Meet Tinkerbelle ✨🧚‍♀️ 1 year old | 15 lbs | Small breed mix Tinkerbelle is a tiny spark of joy wrapped in silky white fur with hints of apricot. While her exact breed is unknown, she appears to be a mix of Poodle, Maltese, Havanese, or Coton de Tulear — a perfect blend of fluffy, fun, and adorable 🧚 She is spunky, playful, and full of happy energy, but she’s also a total cuddle bug who loves being close to her people. 💕 She doesn’t mind being dressed up, loves toys and bones, and gets along wonderfully with all people and all dogs. *IMPORTANT*: We do want to be completely transparent — Tinkerbelle is a digger and an escape artist. Because of this, she needs a very secure home and a “helicopter” dog parent who takes safety seriously. She was trapped in Georgia before coming to us after being on the run for months and then was adopted, instructions weren't followed and she escaped again on the 3rd day. We trapped her a 2nd time. It is unlikely that she will fall for a trap again, so we need a seriously diligent dog parent. One who is actually terrified of their dog getting loose and killed. A lot of people take that lightly, but we need the person who is paranoid. No sugarcoating here — she’s worth the extra diligence! The good stuff: 🧚‍♂️ Crate trained 🧚‍♂️ House trained 🧚‍♂️ Listens well 🧚‍♂️ Loves playtime, toys, and wrestling 🧚‍♂️ Social, affectionate, and FUN The safest home options for her are: - An apartment or townhome where she is always leashed outside, ideally with access to a secure dog park for supervised play. - A home with a solid fenced yard that has dig-proof reinforcement installed along the entire perimeter. She is very sweet, but will only go to an adult home without kids so that no one lets her out. She would LOVE another dog to play with and someone who works from home if possible. 📍 Fostered in Clearwater, FL 💉 Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped & heartworm negative 💲 Adoption fee: $400 ➡️ Application: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt Tinkerbelle is a special little survivor who just needs the right setup to thrive. If you’re looking for a lively, loving companion and can provide a secure home, she may be your perfect match. 💖🐶
