PLEASE NOTE: LOOK OVER YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE HITTING SUBMIT, AS INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CLOSED. Hi I’m Tilly, a sweet, happy, and smart 4 yr old Maltese mix gal ready for my furever home. I’ve had some bumps in my life, please read my original post a little further down our page about that. A little about me. I am a super cuddle bug who absolutely loves her humans. I love to dance and spin around when I’m excited. I just wiggle my butt and spin in circles when I know that you are home, or when we are getting ready to go o-u-t-s-i-d-e. I love going on brisk short walks, playing chase, and getting all the belly rubs I can, but my favorite thing in the world is sitting close to my human, like thisclose! Ha! I’m looking for a home where the human(s) are home more often than not, a work from home or retired family would be best for me. I am crate and potty trained, as long as I’m taken out regularly. I’m learning not to pull on the leash when we go on walks, and I need a patient Mommy or Daddy (or both!) to teach me more leash manners. I also love running around in the fenced in yard. I am a great lizard hunter, and will keep your yard free of squirrels, so it’s important that a human is there to watch over me. I love stuffies, and your stuffie is my stuffie, but a chew bone is quite welcome too. I am also a great guard dog and look out the window to keep you all safe from delivery workers and traveling salesmen. Ha! I had a rough start in my “previous” life, and my foster mommy has been working real hard with me to be the bestest puppers so that I can find my “fur” ever family. Maybe that’s you? I sure hope so! If you know I’m the girl for you, just visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Don’t forget to put my name, Tilly, on that paper. lol..Hope to meet you soon! 🐾❤️ More about Tilly: Tilly is good with the other dogs in the foster home, as long as she is the lead/alpha, she is being exposed to puppies and small dogs and is happy to watch them. We would love to see her new home with a doggy friend who is submissive and friendly of similar age or younger and size to play with. Tilly does express herself with her voice on walks and well as home and can get barky sometimes. She wants everyone to notice her and say hi, so she will require a single family home, no condos, apartments, townhouse or any home with shared walls. Thank you for understanding, as this is what’s best for her. She is the lead dog on the walks and will try to correct the other pups should they try to be the lead pup. Tiilly is spayed, current on her vaccinations, microchipped and current with flea and heartworm prevention. She will require grooming every 4-6 weeks, and grooming can run anywhere from $60.00-$120.00 per visit, so keep that in mind with your budget too! She does great with grooming and is patient in the bath. Does this sound like the girly for you? If so, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and numbers for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pet's estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio of the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pet's needs. Thank you for thinking rescue. Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi… I’m Meemaw 🐾🤍 I’m a 12-year-old Maltese Poodle mix with the gentlest soul and the sweetest heart 🥺 I may be a senior girl, and yes—I’m blind—but don’t let that fool you. Once I learn my surroundings, I get around just beautifully and settle right in like I’ve always been there 💕 I’m a quiet, loving little lady who just wants to be close to my person. I love soft snuggles, cozy naps, and being near the humans I trust most. I’m incredibly sweet, totally house trained, and as easygoing as they come. I don’t bark, I don’t bite, and I’m not destructive—I’m just a soft, gentle little companion looking for a peaceful place to be loved. ✨ My ideal home: • A calm, quiet home with a gentle routine • Someone home most of the time (retired would be perfect) • A small family or one devoted person to love • A cozy home where I can stay close to my human • A soft place to nap and lots of cuddles 🤍 Because I’m blind, I do best in a calm environment where furniture stays predictable and my routine stays consistent. Once I know the layout, I move around confidently and happily. I’m gentle, affectionate, and happiest when I’m curled up beside someone who loves me. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving little shadow with the sweetest heart and the softest soul… I’m your gal 🐾✨ Adoption FEE: $150, which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE: www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. If you have additional questions, you may send an inquiry email to adopt@mercyfullprojects.org to be answered at our earliest convenience. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need. **Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We do not transport. **Review our website for more information. Story
We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups.   Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete.  When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed. Please only send inquiries to the email in this bio all others will not be answered. Please read the bio before sending questions - we answer all we know about the dog here. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Meet Louie - He is looking for the next happy chapter of his life at approx 10 yrs old. Louie was saved from a neglectful home where he wasn't taken care of properly. He came into the rescue with mats up and down body, nails that had grown into his tiny paw pads, a mass the size of a baseball attached to his back limb and rotten teeth. The rescue took this sweet boy in...got him the care and love this sweet senior needed and deserved and now he is ready to meet his forever family. BYW the mass was thankfully benign. Louie's adoption fee is $400 - fully enclosed front or backyard is required.
