Puppy is lovable and very active, she loves long walks and runs. She can keep up if your a light jogger, but will stop to smell the hydrant. She is playful and gets very excited when she sees the mailman. She is a protector once she establishes who is caring for her. This is good and bad. She is a barker and will alert you to things. She is always in a good mood and loves her owner. She will get your emotions up if you are down. She is ❤️ love. Puppy, eats twice daily, she is funny about her meals and will pick out what she doesn’t like.I am looking for a loving person to care for a loving puppy. The fees are negotiable, I would like her to be truly cared for.

Pinkey is an 8 years 3 month old Maltese mix weighing 18 pounds. She came to the shelter as a stray so her history is unknown. Pinkey was born to be pampered! This little lady prefers the finer things in life, like all the warm blankets to cuddle and burrow in! Pinkey likes everyone she meets and is affectionate. She does not show interest in toys here at the shelter. Is content to sit next to you or near by on her blankets. Needs work with housebreaking. Treat motivated-but on a weight loss journey. She does not like the cold! Tolerates baths-does not like her face messed and was sassy & mouthy with groomer. She's been to the veterinarian while in our care for her spay, dental (removing 3 teeth) and the removal of 4 cysts. Mild cataracts in both eyes. Shows interest in cats, wants to play with them, no prey drive. Separation anxiety-does not like to be alone. Has puppy energy. Good guard dog-alert to people and sounds-will bark. Good with other dogs but wants to hump them (no matter their size). Has resource guarding with food and treats.Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! We’re so happy to share that this resilient boy is feeling so much better and is now officially ready to find his forever home. Olaf is an 11-year-old small/medium sized pup who still has plenty of love and life to give. He enjoys a good play session, but like many wise senior dogs, he also really appreciates his naps and cozy downtime.
