Meet Abbie 🤍 At 15 years young, this sweet girl still has some spunk left in her and a whole lot of love to give. Abbie’s favorite place is right by her person’s side, soaking up affection and enjoying the simple comforts of companionship. She’s gentle, loving, and would make the perfect match for someone looking for a calm, devoted best friend. However, she is more used to women than men. If you have room in your heart and home for a senior who just wants to be loved, Abbie will happily return it tenfold. 🐾💞 - Around 15 years old - Currently 10lbs - Prefers to be the only dog in the home - Adoption fee: $100 To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Include information about your family and pets, what you are looking for in a canine companion, how you plan to exercise and train this dog, and why this specific dog seems like a good fit for your family. Those who provide the previous information will be considered first for this canine. Please do NOT call our center. This will help us match you and the animal the best we can. We usually respond via email within 24-48 hours; please check your spam folder if you don't hear from us. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.

Is your lap missing a furry friend? You are in luck! Meena is seeking a lap to call her very own. She is a very sweet, loving and loyal 5-year-old girl. Meena would thrive as someone’s precious and spoiled best friend. She does fine with the other dogs and cats in the home, but we see how much she would love to have a human or family of her very own. We think she would love having a calm home that can pamper her. She is used to getting bathed and groomed frequently. With her beautiful coat, she will need someone to help keep her looking like the beauty queen she is.Meena’s life wasn’t always easy. It may take her a minute to warm up but once she does, you are her person! She can be sensitive with her back side to start and why we would recommend older kids. Meena loves to sit on your lap and sleep next to you. She does great in the car. She is potty trained as her foster is home almost all of the time and does let her out to do her business often. She would do best in a securely fenced back yard as she loves to explore or with someone active that can take her on lots of walks.
