Story
🌼 Meet Our “Gentleman’s Club 7” Breeder-Release Maltese Dogs 🌼 (Reginald, Clarence, Edwin, Percival, Wilfred, Bertram, and Theodore) Percival—affectionately called Percy—is a sweet, playful little Maltese who is just beginning to discover what life as a beloved pet is all about. Percy came from a breeding facility where he lived closely with the gentleman club, and because of that, they are very attached to each other. A home with another friendly, social dog is a must for him—he truly thrives when he has a buddy by his side. He is fostered with Edwin and they nonstop race the house with each other. Percy is a funny, charming little guy with a gentle spirit. Living in a home with people is still new to him, and while he’s learning that being picked up and cuddled can be safe and cozy, it does make him a bit nervous at first. With patience, he will settle into your lap and relax, and continued gentle handling will help him build confidence. His preference, though, is happily sitting close to his doggy sibling, soaking up that familiar comfort. His favorite toy is a plastic water bottle. He is not leash trained and will need a securely fenced yard to safely explore the outdoors. Percy is currently using potty pads and will need ongoing work and consistency to learn pottying outside. He does not enjoy being kenneled but does well in an x-pen, where he feels more at ease. Percy is looking for a calm, patient home that understands breeder-release dogs and is willing to let him move at his own pace. With another dog to guide him and a family who celebrates small wins, Percy will continue to blossom into the delightful little companion he’s meant to be. 💛 Adoption fee: $350.00 plus tax Apply at: www.camp companion.org

Story
Meet Reginald (aka Reggie) 💙 Reginald is a sweet little Maltese breeder release who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. He’s about 1.5 years old and weighs around 10 lbs, making him the perfect small companion with a big heart. 🐕 Reggie is gentle, endearing, and quietly affectionate once he feels safe. Because he didn’t get to experience a normal puppyhood, he will need another friendly, social dog in the home to help show him the ropes and teach him how to “dog” by example. Having a canine buddy gives him confidence and comfort. ✨ House & Training Reggie is doing great with potty training when kept on a consistent schedule. He has been using a small x-pen area in the yard and is going outside reliably. A fenced yard is not required. 👨‍👩‍👧 Kids & Home Environment We recommend a home with adults or older, respectful children who understand the importance of giving Reggie time, patience, and space as he adjusts to a new environment. A calm, gentle household will help him thrive. 🐾 Special Notes Reggie is missing his back right foot, which does limit his mobility a bit—but don’t let that fool you. He gets around just fine and doesn’t let it stop him from enjoying life. His resilience is just one more thing to love about him. Reggie’s foster family describes him as an amazing, incredibly cute little pup who is blossoming more every day. With patience, love, and a confident canine companion, Reggie will make a truly special addition to the right home. If you’re looking for a tender soul to grow with and cheer on as he discovers the world, Reggie may be your perfect match. 🐶💙 Adoption fee: $350.00 + tax Apply at: www.campcompanion.org

Story
🌼 Meet Our “Gentleman’s Club 7” Breeder-Release Maltese Dogs 🌼 (Reginald, Clarence, Edwin, Percival, Wilfred, Bertram, and Theodore) Meet Edwin 💙 — a tiny 7-lb Maltese with a huge personality and a talent for making people laugh. Edwin is a funny little guy who brings big, joyful energy… especially when other dogs are around. Living in a home with people is still very new to him, so he’s currently scared of being held or touched by humans. What he lacks in confidence with people, he more than makes up for in his love of dogs — they make him very happy and help him feel safe. Edwin is under-socialized, but with patience, gentle handling, and consistent, kind routines, he can begin to feel secure and learn what it means to be loved. He’ll do best in a calm home that lets him move at his own pace and celebrates small wins. He has walked on a leash at an adoption event, though he hasn’t pottied on leash yet. In a securely fenced yard, he does know how to use a doggy door. REQUIREMENTS: • Edwin must have another social dog in the home (all sizes are fine!) Adoption fee: $350.00 + tax Apply to adopt: www.campcompanion.org Edwin is looking for a patient, dog-savvy home where he can feel safe, follow a confident canine friend, and let his big personality shine. 🐾

🌼 Meet Our “Gentleman’s Club 7” Breeder-Release Maltese Dogs 🌼 (Reginald, Clarence, Edwin, Percival, Wilfred, Bertram, and Theodore) Bertram has started over after living his whole life in a breeding environment. He came to us scared and under-socialized, but with patience and kind routines, he is starting to feel safe and loved. He is coming out of his shell every day, and is becoming a cuddler! Bertam has been timid and unsure of people, so he will startle when picked up, but enjoys being held once he is in your arms or on your lap. He does the silliest thing where he digs his face into covers, like he is burying something, to show that he wants attention! He gets along with other dogs and is really curious about his foster siblings. He LOVES treats! His favorite game right now is when his foster mom tosses pieces of his kibble for him to hunt and find. Bertram isn’t leash trained yet, so he would benefit from a fenced in yard or potty area, as well as another dog to show him the ropes and teach him what being loved in a house is like! He is learning all about potty training, and does well on a consistent routine! Bertram is a sweet little guy who will make a great companion, especially as he continues to explore the world and see all life has to offer! Story
History: Little Tom is a handsome little fella who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. He is officially ready to start his journey in finding his forever home and hopes to find them soon! A Note from the Foster: Little Tom is a bundle of energy who loves to run and play with his toys, tossing them on the floor and wrestling with them. He is officially ready to start his journey in finding his forever home and hopes to find them soon! He likes to play Alpha dog to my more passive female, but I do not have concerns of it being an issue with more confident dog friends, He loves being the center of attention and would do well as the only dog in the home. He would thrive in a home where his people are home a lot as he gets a bit anxious if left for long periods of time. Little Tom enjoys sitting in my lap or by my side to be snuggled and nap. At night, he prefers sleeping on the sofa or in my bed. Little Tom likes to have his voice heard and would not do well in a home with shared walls. I continue to work with him on barking and think that will improve as his confidence also improves. He is doing well with house training using puppy pads since his neuter surgery. He will need to work on going potty outside as his next step to being fully house trained. Little Tom enjoys going out on the deck to watch the animals in the back yard. He also loves to get his zoomies out by running around the house and chasing his tail. He’s cautious around new people, but warms up quickly when approached respectfully. Little Tom does well traveling in a car. He needs more practice learning to walk on a leash, and as the weather improves I am confident he will learn quickly. I have loved having him in my home as he is a very sweet little guy who loves being with his caretaker.

Story
History: Princess is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon! A Note from the Foster: Hi, I’m Princess, although my foster family calls me Peanut. My foster mom says I am a 10 pound bundle of sweetness. I’m very shy but I’m starting to understand that this new world is full of snuggles, warm beds and lots of good food. I like to be in the same room with my people and sit near them on the couch. I’d rather not be picked up, though. I sleep quietly in my kennel and keep it clean. As long as I can go outside regularly, I don’t have accidents in the house. I love being outside! I love to chase my foster brother around the yard, even though he’s three times bigger than me. And when we’re done playing, I like to snuggle on the couch with him and my even bigger brother. I’m very quiet. I love food! But I don’t like to eat when anyone is watching me and I don’t like to take treats from anyone’s hands. My foster mom is working with me to get past that so that I can learn things like going up and down stairs and walking on a leash. She says that will really open up my world, but it’s hard for me to trust people right now. I’m working on getting braver and my mom says I’m really making a lot of progress. I’ve come a long way in just a few weeks. She tells me all the time how wonderful I am; I’m starting to believe her. My foster mom and I hope I find a forever family who understands that I’m a timid girl and will give me as much time and patience as I need to get comfortable. We both think I’m a perfect fit for just the right family!
