THIS ANIMAL HAS AN ADOPTION HOLD* Meet Koko! She's a sweet girl looking for a forever home! Koko can be a little shy in new situations, but she warms up quickly with reassurance and encouragement. She is crate trained and is used to sleeping through the night in her kennel. Koko is also house-trained and will wait by the door to go outside. Koko's favorite pastime is playing fetch! She could go all day if you're up for it! Koko is also very fond of car rides and enjoys sticking her head out the window to catch all the smells! She has been known to cry and whine when her humans aren't home so she would do best being kenneled when her people are away so she can feel contained and overall comfortable. Koko has lived with dogs and children in the past and did well! She has met cats but would need slow supervised introductions due to her getting a little too excited around them. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended. Ask a TCHS staff member for information on how to ease the transition! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. This handsome boy arrived at Animal Humane Society as a stray, so unfortunately, we don't know much about his past. What we do know is that the shelter environment has been overwhelming for him, and he's having a hard time trusting people. He needs a patient, experienced foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can decompress, have some quiet time, and learn that people can be trusted. His new family will need to respect his boundaries, move slowly, and allow him to build a relationship at his own pace. Located in a Foster Home. ##2814696##
