I'm Abbie, and I'm the SWEETEST lap dog you will find! I'm a senior, easy going and quiet gal, which means I can live in an apartment, condo or townhome! Not only am I a chill gal, but I get along great with dogs of all sizes, people and likely cats. I'm just not bothered, in fact, I am a confident lady (not shy or timid). I do have one request though. I must be able to sleep in the big bed with my humans, sorry, non-negotiable!!! The weather is getting chilly, and I'm looking for that warm lap-human to keep me cozy. About 7 years old, Homer came to us from a puppy mill, and much of the world is still brand new to him. Because of this, he can be timid with unfamiliar sights, sounds, and experiences, but with patience and kindness, his gentle personality truly shines.Homer enjoys being outside and taking in the fresh air, making slow, peaceful walks something he can grow to love. He will need help with leash walking and potty training, as well as guidance to learn the routines of living in a home with a family. He’ll also need a family willing to help him watch his weight so he can stay happy and healthy for years to come.This sweet boy is just beginning to learn what it means to be a beloved pet. A calm, understanding home that will move at his pace will help Homer blossom into the loving companion he was always meant to be.
