Brie came from North Carolina with her two puppies. Sadly, all three dogs were part of a 40+ dog hoarding case where they were severely neglected. By the time help came, Brie had lost one of her puppies leaving her with only two to raise. Now that the puppies are weaned, Brie is ready for her own story. A story that allows her to be the center of attention and doted on by her new human. She is a diva, so she very much enjoys the attention. She will co-exist with the other dogs as long as the new family understands how to properly introduce her. She is nervous around larger dogs but doesn't make a fuss. She has not been tested with cats, but if they ignore her, she will ignore them. Brie is 6-7 pounds fully grown. We believe she is Maltese/yorkie mix of some kind. Piper is a one-year-old gal who is equal parts cuddly companion and playful best friend. She has a gentle, easygoing nature and a soft spot for being close to her people. Meet Star! This spunky little dog was named Star because she sparkles with light. She will gleefully run up to you for attention even if she doesn’t know you. She’s the first to jump on your lap to kiss you on your cheek. You will often see her dancing on the sofa or in the house, full of happiness. Star is around 6 years old and weighs around 9 pounds. She is not accustomed to being on a leash, so a fenced yard is essential. She goes out for a potty break every few hours, like most small dogs. Star is very gentle and has never growled even once. She is perfect when being groomed and is very easy to care for. She does great around other dogs. Star had a dental and is current on vaccines and heartworm testing.
