I’m looking for a forever home for my mom’s dogs. They are a bonded pair that came from a breeder. Both dogs are fixed and are up to date with their vaccinations. Sassy (Maltese) 6/5/2022 male. Sassy (aptly named) has very soulful eyes that can tell you exactly when he needs a treat. 😊 He enjoys being carried around and getting treats whenever he wants. He doesn’t really care for the leash as he tends to bite it all the time during walks. He prefers being let out in the backyard. Sassy is not fully house broken. He has had a lot of movement in the past few years so that maybe a contributing factor. Sassy is part of a bonded pair of dogs. I do believe that it would be best for them to stay together. I think it’s normal for dogs to experience behaviors when they are moved to a new home. Time and patiences is needed to make him feel secure again so please be welling to work with him. ❤️

According to her foster, Millie is a spitfire! Fortunately, she is very small so she isn't bouncing off the furniture or chewing up your house. She loves other little dogs and doesn't bother the cats that she lives with. She is very active and playful and loves to drag around toys. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and loves to go outside. She is pee pad trained but seems to prefer to potty outside. She walks on a leash for a time, but then looks at you with her sad eyes (what an act) so that you will pick her up. She does have a hind leg that she sometimes limps on and sometimes uses. She can go up and down stairs but sometimes needs help coming back up. She will go anywhere with you. She will alert you with a few barks when there is a disturbance in her universe. What a fun little dog! She is estimated to be between 5-7 years old and recently had a full dentalFOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Her adoption fee is $400. For inquiries email april@compactcaninerescue.org Fee: $400 Location: Newport News, VA Meet Junior! Junior is a sweet, calm, senior gentleman. He is a Maltese type mix. He weighs about 12 pounds and is approximately 10 years old. (More photos to follow once he is settled) Junior was a stray at the shelter. He was being held for stray hold, then rescue placement due to his severe dental disease! He will most likely need a full mouth extraction. Junior is currently decompressing at his foster home in Newport News. He will have his dental, neuter and removal of a nodule on his tail on or before June 15th. For now he is resting, eating soft food and making new friends with his foster siblings. He will need a week or so to recover then he will be ready for adoption.
