He was born May 1st of 2023. Due to his liver enzymes being low, the vet did not recommend neutering because it was too dangerous to put him under. Because of this he has some behavioral issues with our other dog. They play well together but he licks him a lot in one spot until it gets raw to the skin. And our other dog, who is much larger, lets him, even though it stressing out. He humps occasionally as well. He also has accidents in the house. Both kinds, but usually just pee. Even if he’s gone out just an hour or two ago. Vet suggested all this is behavioral due to not being neutered and suggests that he would do better in a household with being an only dog. Plays great with my 9 year old daughter.

Meet Ariana (10 lbs) and Xena (12 lbs), two sweet 3-year-old Maltese–Bichon mix sisters looking for an experienced small-dog home. They’re a bonded pair who love to snuggle—Ariana sleeps close to her people, and Xena curls up at the foot of the bed. These girls are active, playful, and would thrive with an active family, ideally one with a fenced yard for daily exercise. They enjoy fetch, tag, and playing together, and may even do well in agility. Ariana is the calmer, more confident one, while Xena follows her lead. They are food-motivated, know basic commands, and are crate trained when left alone. They still need consistent housetraining and some leash-walking practice, especially Xena, but they’re smart and eager to learn. They are UTD on vaccinations and will be spayed through HSLC.
