Story
Reuben is absolutely the best boy! He’s a six-year-old rescue that we got as a puppy during Covid as an emotional support companion for my daughter. My kids have now flown the nest and I’m sad to say I don’t have the good health and ability to care for him in the way I would like to. He would do great with an active home or family and people to love on him. He’s really a people kind of guy and a big goofball with a loud voice when he means it, but he is a sweet tempered, big softy love bug and cuddler. He loves to adventure, daily walks to sniff things and is very food motivated. He is happiest off leash in the woods or at the beach. He likes to swim and go paddle boarding, play frisbee and fetch. He’s good at just chilling around the house as well. Ideally, I would love to find someone local to Eugene, who wouldn’t mind sharing him occasionally as we would love to take him camping or hiking when you need to go out of town or would like a loving pet sitter! We hate to lose him.
