Story
Let us introduce you to Lila, our resident gentle giant and professional couch potato. This sweet girl is equal parts lover, snuggler, and breeze-catching car ride enthusiast. If you’ve got a couch and a vehicle with windows that roll down halfway, congratulations — you already have two of Lila’s favorite things in life. 🚗💨 When it comes to new people, Lila is a polite little introvert. She might play it cool at first, but don’t worry — she’ll absolutely come in for the classic “hello, may I sniff your hand and accept a gentle pat?” greeting once she’s decided you pass the vibe check. She’s still very much a baby in a big dog body, which means we’re working on things like crate training. Lila wants to be good so badly… but sometimes her baby brain gets a little louder than her manners and she’ll protest with a dramatic whine that can escalate into an Oscar-worthy performance if left unchecked. Consistency is key, and she’s learning quickly! Speaking of learning — this girl is smart. She’s already showing great progress with impulse control. She’s been doing amazingly with my cats (who are basically dog-savvy professionals at this point). If they decide to sprint, her inner “must chase fast thing” instinct kicks in, but a quick “NUH UH” brings her right back to reality. Because of this, any home with small animals will need very slow, thoughtful introductions. Lila is a mastiff mix, which means she’s a big girl with a big heart who needs a confident human to help guide her. She can be a little unsure of herself sometimes, so she benefits from someone willing to help build her confidence and show her that she doesn’t have to be the security team all by herself. With the right leadership, she settles in beautifully. Despite her size, Lila has been an apartment superstar. She’s not the neighborhood alarm system (unlike my husky… who believes every falling leaf deserves commentary). She’ll give a bark if someone knocks on the door, but if she’s crated she settles down quickly. She’s also doing great with potty training, with accidents only happening if I’m gone longer than usual. And so far? No signs of being a secret home renovation specialist. She enjoys her treats and chews but is incredibly polite about them — gentle mouth, happy to trade, and no resource guarding behaviors observed. In summary: ✨ Couch connoisseur ✨ Car ride co-pilot ✨ Sweet, gentle soul ✨ Smart baby still learning the ropes ✨ Looking for a confident human to help her blossom Lila is truly a wonderful dog with so much love to give. She just needs someone ready to guide her, cheer her on, and remind her she’s safe. And in return? You’ll get one very loyal, very cuddly, very adorable best friend. 🐾💕 If you’re looking for a big sweetheart with a goofy baby side, Lila might just be your girl.

Story
Meet our sweet boy Apollo 🐾 Apollo just turned 2 years old on January 5, 2026. He is a loving, affectionate pup who adores belly rubs and enjoys spending time with his people. Apollo is well-mannered and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, and shake paws. We are heartbroken to say that we are looking for a new family for Apollo due to circumstances beyond our control—our landlord has required that we rehome him. This decision has not been easy, and our only wish is to find a home that will love and care for him just as much as we do. If you are willing to give Apollo a chance and provide him with a safe, loving forever home, please reach out. He truly deserves a family who will cherish him.

Story
Nova is a cuddle bug who lives for her favorite person. She’s housetrained, walks great on leash, and is friendly with other dogs. Treats and squeaky toys are the way to her heart, and once she trusts you, she’ll want to be by your side constantly. Nova can get anxious when left alone at first, but she’s shown she can settle down and handle it once she adjusts. She knows “sit” and is still warming up to strangers, so a little patience goes a long way with her. Nova’s ideal home: A backyard, daily walks, and people who want a loyal companion by their side. She does fine as an only dog or with other dogs. Because she jumps when excited, she’s better suited for a home without young kids who could easily be knocked over.   ##2665648##
