Story
Dozer is a neutered male, black/white Mastiff Hi! I'm Dozer! I am deaf! I really don't know how to play. It’s kind of sad. I have a little routine here - I just go in my pen, eat a few bites, drink then run back out for a treat. I like being near my people & will follow you around. I am not interested in playing ball. I really just don't know what to do with myself other than just enjoy life. I am so sweet, according to my foster. So if you don't mind a good-sized velcro dog, I'm your guy! ##2498995##

Check our website after the event for available dogs. All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.Adoption fee: $650 Meet the Myth sisters – they are the 4 “S”s — Sweet, Social, Sassy, and Smart   The Myth sisters are 10 week old English Mastiff/Griffon mixes with big personalities, even bigger paws, and hearts to match. Their mom, Myth, is a 50-pound wire-haired Griffon mix who was rescued from a shelter and quickly proved herself to be an amazing mother.   These puppies are already over 10 pounds and are expected to be large dogs when fully grown, but right now they’re enjoying life as happy, playful puppies who are winning over everyone they meet.   What makes these puppies special? They’re not just adorable— they’re remarkably well-adjusted for their age. They sleep through the night, are crate trained, rarely bark, and are already doing very well with house training, using the grass outside and pee pads pretty consistently. They love people, enjoy meeting new friends, and have been amazing in foster care.   Like all puppies, they have plenty of energy and love to play, wrestle, and explore. But they also take frequent naps and are a joy to be around.   LOCH NESS – Playful, Silly, and Full of Joy   Loch Ness (Nessie) approaches every day with enthusiasm and is always ready to start a game, chase a toy, or wrestle her sister.   She’s playful, confident, and endlessly entertaining, but she’s also incredibly sweet and intuitive. Most puppies will chew on anything; even your hands. Not Nessi - she is gentle with people even as she’s wild playing with her sister. She has a talent for turning ordinary moments into memorable ones.   Loch Ness would thrive with a family looking for a fun-loving companion who will happily join in adventures, play sessions, and then chill time afterward. She brings a lot of energy to life—but in the very best way.   YETI – Soft Puppy, Big Heart   Yeti is curious, brave, and loves being part of whatever is happening. She’s playful and spirited but also loves her chin rubbed and will settle in by your feet when she’s tuckered out from all her play.   Yeti has a sweet, expressive face, loving personality, and determination to be included in all the fun.   Both of these girls are looking for families who are ready for the joys of puppyhood and excited to help them grow into wonderful adult dogs. With their friendly personalities, great early training habits, and sweet temperaments, they’re off to an amazing start.    June 5, 2026, 12:28 am

Story
Romeo is very sweet 6 year old boy but the vets think he may be younger. He would love to be a family dog and definitely wants to find his forever home, but can be protective of his people and his space. That being said once he knows you are part of the family he listens very well and knows many commands, sit, stay, down, shake, wait. He is slow to warm up to new people but once he has been introduced to you he is a gentle giant and big couch potato that loves to cuddle. He also really enjoys going for a ride in the car. It is not recommended to have young kids due to his size. He is good on the leash and knows many commands but needs someone that is not afraid of his size and can properly handle him. Experienced adopter with larger breeds is a must. No other dogs or animals in the household and not a good candidate for crates.

Story
`Dude` is in need of rescue.05/20/26 15:19FAS 4 in kennel.Nervous in kennel, barking at kennel at first when approached. Able to coax out after showing leash and closing kennel divider. Interested in treats, Took approx 3 min to start warming up to me. We were able to vaccinate using minimal restraint. Less interest in treats after vaccinating due to stress. Dog was very stiff during time out of kennel, lip licks but did not attempt to head flip or bite. Body loosened briefly when introduced to a dog through kennel.Responds well to HV treats. 05/20/26 16:17Extremely poor kennel presence, snarling and lunging at kennel door. 05/21/26 12:23Barking at front of kennel, when I began speaking he stopped and wagged tail, easy to leash and take out; big improvement from yesterday.Took to side yard and introduced to cootie, did great, was nervous at first when cootie wanted to play chase but warmed up quickly.Able to complete full invasive handling. Needs kennel cover due to barrier reactivity.
