Story
Dozer is a neutered male, black/white Mastiff Hi! I'm Dozer! I am deaf! I really don't know how to play. It’s kind of sad. I have a little routine here - I just go in my pen, eat a few bites, drink then run back out for a treat. I like being near my people & will follow you around. I am not interested in playing ball. I really just don't know what to do with myself other than just enjoy life. I am so sweet, according to my foster. So if you don't mind a good-sized velcro dog, I'm your guy! ##2498995##

Story
Romeo is very sweet 6 year old boy but the vets think he may be younger. He would love to be a family dog and definitely wants to find his forever home, but can be protective of his people and his space. That being said once he knows you are part of the family he listens very well and knows many commands, sit, stay, down, shake, wait. He is slow to warm up to new people but once he has been introduced to you he is a gentle giant and big couch potato that loves to cuddle. He also really enjoys going for a ride in the car. It is not recommended to have young kids due to his size. He is good on the leash and knows many commands but needs someone that is not afraid of his size and can properly handle him. Experienced adopter with larger breeds is a must. No other dogs or animals in the household and not a good candidate for crates.

Story
Meet Rex, our 98-lb gentle giant with a heart just as big as his blocky head. This stunning red Mastiff mix, just under 2 years old and already neutered, is the total package he is calm, polite, intelligent, and just the right amount of goofy. ✨ Why Rex is amazing: • Walks beautifully on leash • Knows “sit” and takes treats with a soft, gentle mouth • Affectionate once he warms up • Loves walks, lounging, and hanging with his people • May be cat workable with slow and proper intros 🐱❤️ In playgroups, Rex enjoys gentle play with both male and female dogs who don’t mind his big-dog enthusiasm. He thrives in a calm, structured home without too much chaos just a loving person or family who sees what a treasure he is. Neutered| 2 yrs old | 98 lbs | Mastiff Mix

Story
Do you like BIG dogs? She-Ra may be your girl! She is a female Mastiff mix, who is approximately seven years old, and currently weighs 93 pounds. Despite her size, she is a lower-energy pup, who enjoys going for walks, but is mostly happy to hang out and just be by your side! She was brought to our shelter on 11/17/25 after being found in unincorporated Livermore. She hasn't been reclaimed by her previous person, so she's now looking for a new home! She has been vaccinated, spayed, and micro-chipped. She-Ra is dog-selective, which is common amongst adult dogs, and means that she may appreciate some dogs more than others. If you already have another dog at home, we'll ask you to bring them to meet her too, prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Her spay surgery has been sponsored by our friends at the Tri-Valley Animal Rescue! She-Ra qualifies for Senior Sunday! Adopt her on a Sunday and we'll waive her adoption fee!

Story
Meet our sweet boy Apollo 🐾 Apollo just turned 2 years old on January 5, 2026. He is a loving, affectionate pup who adores belly rubs and enjoys spending time with his people. Apollo is well-mannered and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, and shake paws. We are heartbroken to say that we are looking for a new family for Apollo due to circumstances beyond our control—our landlord has required that we rehome him. This decision has not been easy, and our only wish is to find a home that will love and care for him just as much as we do. If you are willing to give Apollo a chance and provide him with a safe, loving forever home, please reach out. He truly deserves a family who will cherish him.

Story
Meet Cash!Cash is a big, energetic goofball with a heart that’s bigger than his wiggle. Once he warms up, he’s an affectionate, people-loving dog who leans in for pets and happily accepts handling all over—ears, paws, and everything in between. He can be a little serious at first, but give him a moment and you’ll see his sweet, affiliative side shine.Personality & MannerismsCash is wiggly, expressive, and full of enthusiasm. He shows his excitement with a loose body, happy bouncing, and the occasional enthusiastic mouthiness when playing. He loves attention but also has a bit of an independent streak—he’ll check in with you, then head back out to investigate the world. Think “adventurer who still wants a cuddle break.”Training & HandlingCash knows sit, shake, down, and his name, and he takes treats gently (jerky is a favorite!). He’s very tolerant of handling and does great for vet care and vaccinations—even if he needs an extra set of hands because he just can’t stop wiggling. He leans into his people for affection and clearly enjoys being loved on.Leash SkillsCash is easy to leash and eager to get moving—but fair warning: he’s strong and still working on his leash manners. He pulls and can be very focused on his surroundings, so a confident handler and some continued leash training will help him shine. He may benefit from regular potty walks, as he happily relieves himself while out and about.Dog Social SkillsCash enjoys playful, physical dog interactions and does best with dogs who match his energy and play style. He’s been successful in dog-to-dog play with a playful adult husky, engaging in mutual face and neck mouthing and settling into off-leash play after a few minutes. Because he can play rough and be mouthy, he’d thrive with tolerant, social canine friends and supervised play.Cash would love an active home that can give him structure, enrichment, and outlets for his energy. Continued training, fun adventures, and maybe a playful dog buddy would help him be his best self.If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate dog who’s ready to learn and live life full throttle, Cash might just be your perfect match
