Story
Meet Herbie, a sensitive and curious soul who's ready to embark on a new chapter in a loving home. This 2-year-old Mastiff mix is a gentle giant with a loyal heart and a dignified demeanor. He has a lot of the typical characteristics of his Mastiff breed, so someone who understands and loves the breed, would be an amazing advocate for him. Herbie is a smart boy who has recently completed a month of intensive training, where he learned skills in obedience, leash manners, and building his confidence. He's eager to continue his journey with a dedicated adopter, who can provide a calm and understanding environment, helping him feel safe and secure. This sweet boy thrives in a quiet home where he can be himself and form strong bonds. While he's still working on his confidence, once he opens up, his loyalty knows no bounds. Herbie is protective of his people and will be your steadfast companion and guardian. He just needs a gentle and relaxed introduction to new people and strangers, as he prefers a calm approach. Herbie is the whole package— gorgeous, smart, funny, and quiet, with a love for the comforts of home. He's hoping to find his forever family, where he can be your loyal friend and guardian. Could you be the one to help this wonderful boy reach his fullest potential?

Story
Hi, my name is Heath and I'm a fun-loving 9-month-old mastiff mix with a big personality to match my big size! I'm a friendly, social guy who loves meeting new people and dogs alike — I get so excited to greet everyone I encounter that I sometimes forget how large I am and may jump up for pets, so I'm still working on my manners. I've done great around other dogs, and I enjoy an active lifestyle full of running, hiking, and trips to the dog park. I'm treat-motivated and pretty smart, so with some consistent training and structure I can really shine — I already know how to sit and I love to engage and learn. If you're looking for a silly, affectionate companion who will keep you laughing and moving, I just might be your guy!
