He is outgoing with everyone he meet, loving, playful and goofy, his love of life makes everyday brighter with him by your side. Muggles loves having a doggie friend, he runs and stretches his legs then curls into his person for snuggles. He loves attention and will follow you everywhere you go for head and back scratches. Meet Baxter! Baxter was surrendered and asked to be picked up by ACO when he was just 5 months old. He just turned 2 years old this month. His family said they no longer wanted him because “he wasn’t getting big enough” He’s been with his foster ever since, no fault of his own as a different rescue committed to him and left him behind. Baxter is simply the best and is so deserving of a family of his own. He is high energy and loves to play, he will do great with a family that has older kids. He’s is always ready for an adventure or a hike and then a snuggle session. He LOVES toys especially his jumbler ball. Just make sure to always keep some backups on hand in case needed 😅 he loves running and jumping in the air. Baxter will keep you laughing with his goody antics and joy of everything! Welcome Barron to CCPAL Rescue. Barron is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Barron is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Barron would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. He would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Barron’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. He should be 60 pounds full grown. He likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. He will go on a potty pad. He is good with other dogs bigger than himself. His dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. He energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. He has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. He has longer hair a little more like the GP momma. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. He is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for his forever home soon. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. KERRI is a precious 70# sweetheart. She is 2 years old. Kerri was found in Memphis, TN with her babies. She loves being with people and riding in car. Loves toys. She is leash and crate trained. Karrie is laid back and wants to please. She’s smile and knows sit and will high five for a treat. Karrie is quiet and doesn’t bank a lot. Very smart and a quick learner. Loves nighty brushing and rolls on her back for love of tummy rubs. I’m her foster mom and can go on for days bragging on her. FaceTime, email or phone conversations if you want more information on Karrie ! Fully vetted including spay, rabies, 4dx heartworm test (neg), all vaccinations and preventatives. KERRI had a rough time until her rescue get her and babies safe. Sure it was really hard trying to care for them when she was a stray. Kerri deserves the very best of homes! Meet Lady Rose— the Queen of Cuddles and Couch Time! 👑 If you’re looking for the world’s sweetest, most smooshable, big-headed lovebug… you’ve found her! Lady is a 3-year-old mastiff mix with the softest soul and the cutest little white “shoes” you’ve ever seen. She’s equal parts gentle couch potato and goofy best friend — basically a perfect mix of chill and charm. Lady LOVES her people and will happily lean right into you for snuggles, belly rubs, or just to remind you that she’s there. She’s the kind of dog who rolls over for pets, politely asks for more, and then melts into your lap (yes, she’s convinced she’s lap-sized). She has perfected the art of leaning her whole body into you just to make sure you know she loves you. She’s not pushy about it either — she’ll politely ask for affection, and when you stop, she gives you the saddest “but why did you stop petting me?” look until your heart melts and you start again. She loves to roll over for belly rubs, and if she could, she’d spend all day like that. She’s super easy to handle and loves meeting new people. In fact, she’s never met a stranger — she walks right up to everyone she meets, wiggles, leans in for pets, and wins hearts instantly. Lady is also amazing with kiddos — she knows to be extra gentle, doesn’t jump, and melts when little hands reach for her. She’s the kind of dog that makes people say, “Wow, she’s such a good girl,” about ten times in a row. When it comes to other dogs, Lady has what we call “queen energy.” She’s calm, polite, and a little bit aloof — she doesn’t need to be the center of the dog party, but she’ll happily hang out in the same space as long as everyone’s being respectful. She’s met a few dogs in playgroups and usually prefers to wander around and mind her business (unless someone gets a little too bouncy in her face — then she’ll give them a tiny “hey, personal space please” and go back to her stroll). She’d do best with another laid-back, mellow dog who won’t pester her for playtime — or she’d be perfectly happy being the only royalty in the house! And let’s talk about kitties — Lady met one and was a total lady about it! She was curious but cautious, gave a sniff or two, and then politely backed off when the kitty didn’t seem interested.
