Story
Buddy the Elf always says, "I like to smile. Smiling's my favorite!" Well, this canine version of Buddy the Elf feels the same way! Buddy is the happiest, friendliest, cuddliest elf doggo you'll find anywhere around. He ended up in a local shelter and was running out of time, but thanks to some tireless networking, Buddy ended up in our care. He's a compact guy, weighing in around 40 pounds, and already knows basic commands like sit and paw. He is crate and house trained. Buddy loves other dogs, cats, and kids. He is definitely on Santa's nice list!! Buddy will be ready to travel soon pending vetting. If you're ready to adopt your very own doggo elf who will tell you, "I love you. I love you. I LOVE YOU!" in a million ways every day, Buddy is your guy! For now we'll say, "Bye Buddy! Hope you find your dad (and/or mom)!" If you're interested in welcoming me or any of my delightful Funny Farm companions into your home, kindly visit ffpets.org. There, you can find information about our Tennessee-based rescue, and gain insights into the adoption process! Buddy's adoption fee is $450, with an additional $200 required for transportation if needed. Please note that at the moment, this adorable pet is in the care of a foster home in Tennessee but will be lovingly transported to your location once the adoption process is successfully completed. For details on meeting locations and transport arrangements, simply click on the "Transport" tab at ffpets.org. We strongly encourage you to thoroughly review all transport-related information before submitting your adoption application.

Story
Mr. Jangles appears to be a shepherd/mastiff mix who is almost 2 yrs old. He was transferred to us from our sister shelter in Grand Cayman island where he was rescued last January. He had been dumped in a local area there that is known for people abandoning dogs in. He was around a year old then. He had an injury to his back leg which they believe was due to being hit by a car and not healing properly. He had corrective surgery in February and It will be important to continue his current regimen for recovery for a while which we will coach you on (basically structured exercise and ensuring that he doesn't exert himself and cause a re-injury) Mr. Jangles is loyal, smart, and super friendly. He loves all people and all dogs but he is not a fan of cats. He had perfect manners in the house, never has accidents and is very easy to train. His ideal home would be with moderately active adults who have a yard in a quieter communal and kids older than 8 only because he can be exuberant at times. He would love another canine companion who can be a calm leader for him. Jangles responds to whatever energy he is around so calmer is better for him as he will follow. He is an absolute love and will be a lifetime dog for some lucky people. His foster family adores him and has only good things to say about this beautiful boy please submit an application if you feel like you can give this amazing boy his forever home. ##1866214##

Story
We would like you to meet Lina!  Lina is a 2 year old English Mastiff that joined our rescue a few days ago. We were spending a little time getting to know her, but we have quickly learned that she’s a wonderful girl that is going to make her forever home so happy! Lina is good with other dogs with proper integration! She loves to play but wouldn’t be the best fit for an overly energetic dog. Lina is good with cats, she can be very interested but is gentle and take correction easily. Lina is phenomenal with kids of all ages and is so gentle. She is house broken and crate trained. Lina really likes her crate and lounges in it so she will need a family that has a set up to allow her to have access to her crate most of the time! Lina is a low/moderate energy dog. She’s happy to do a walk and lap around the yard but mostly prefers to hang out. Lina is a true gem and whoever is lucky enough to adopt her will be getting an absolute gem of a new best friend.  If you would like to welcome Lina home, please visit our website and fill out an application.  Astdogrescue.com ##1867290##
