Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 7/14/26 WAIVED ADOPTION FEECeleste can’t stay in rescue forever, she really needs to find her forever home! She’s holding up a spot for others in need, plus she deserves a home of her own. PLEASE SHAREShe needs hundreds of shares to help get her “seen”! We have tons more pictures of her, this site only lets us put 4. Email us or check out our Facebook for more pics https://www.facebook.com/share/1G3E3BAG2b/?mibextid=wwXIfr She needs to be the only dog in the home. She can go for walks and such and pass by other dogs, but can’t live with other dogs. It is VERY hard to find homes for dogs who need to be the only pet in the home. She loves people!! She is all the things. A stunning beauty, heartwarmingly affectionate, and playfully mischievous in the most innocent way. She follows some basic commands such as “sit”, is house trained, and very food motivated. We believe her to be a Great Dane mix, with possibly a dash of Mastiff thrown in there. Maybe some Catahoula? Lab? We don’t know for sure. At about 80 lbs and just over a year old, she could still grow some. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Please visit our Facebook page too! https://www.facebook.com/adoptastrayrescueorg For more info regarding adopting, email apps.aasr@gmail.com Thank you for considering one of our rescue babies!July 19, 2026, 3:58 pm

To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Be sure to watch his video!  Reggie is a 6yo male Mastiff/German Shepherd mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Friendly and well-socialized. Reggie is fine with other dogs but he really shows little interest in other dogs as he prefers people (you can see this in the video). Not cat tested.  History with children unknown. Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house.  Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands.  Loves to be with his people.  Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  When he first came to us, Reggie had heartworms, but he was treated without complications and cured and is now ready for adoption. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 85 pounds.  AWESOME mastiff/shepherd mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!)  for an active family who loves the breed.  To adopt please fill out an adoption application.Contact us at reply@gooddogrescue.com  visit us at Good Dog RescueJuly 13, 2026, 5:02 pm

Story
Meet Lady Rose— the Queen of Cuddles and Couch Time! 👑 If you’re looking for the world’s sweetest, most smooshable, big-headed lovebug… you’ve found her! Lady is a 3-year-old mastiff mix with the softest soul and the cutest little white “shoes” you’ve ever seen. She’s equal parts gentle couch potato and goofy best friend — basically a perfect mix of chill and charm. Lady LOVES her people and will happily lean right into you for snuggles, belly rubs, or just to remind you that she’s there. She’s the kind of dog who rolls over for pets, politely asks for more, and then melts into your lap (yes, she’s convinced she’s lap-sized). She has perfected the art of leaning her whole body into you just to make sure you know she loves you. She’s not pushy about it either — she’ll politely ask for affection, and when you stop, she gives you the saddest “but why did you stop petting me?” look until your heart melts and you start again. She loves to roll over for belly rubs, and if she could, she’d spend all day like that. Watch Lady Rose in action in her video! https://youtu.be/CrIBB0RQicA?si=iQAFu6ekTYtBx0sT This big girl is a total dream on leash — she walks right beside you like she’s done it a million times before, checking in often with a little look that says, “Am I doing good?” (Spoiler: she’s always doing good.) She’s super easy to handle and loves meeting new people. In fact, she’s never met a stranger — she walks right up to everyone she meets, wiggles, leans in for pets, and wins hearts instantly. Lady is also amazing with kiddos — she knows to be extra gentle, doesn’t jump, and melts when little hands reach for her. She’s the kind of dog that makes people say, “Wow, she’s such a good girl,” about ten times in a row. When it comes to other dogs, Lady has what we call “queen energy.” She’s calm, polite, and a little bit aloof — she doesn’t need to be the center of the dog party, but she’ll happily hang out in the same space as long as everyone’s being respectful. She’s met a few dogs in playgroups and usually prefers to wander around and mind her business (unless someone gets a little too bouncy in her face — then she’ll give them a tiny “hey, personal space please” and go back to her stroll). She’d do best with another laid-back, mellow dog who won’t pester her for playtime — or she’d be perfectly happy being the only royalty in the house! And let’s talk about kitties — Lady met one and was a total lady about it! She was curious but cautious, gave a sniff or two, and then politely backed off when the kitty didn’t seem interested. She’s got great manners and would do just fine sharing her castle with a feline friend who appreciates her calm energy. At home, Lady is pure cozy vibes. She’s low-energy and would rather nap next to you than run around. She’s the ultimate couch potato. She’s all about comfort, love, and being close to her people. Lady would do amazing in a home or apartment with someone who wants a snuggle buddy, walking companion, and best friend all rolled into one big, sweet, smooshy face. She’s affectionate, gentle, and ready to fill your life with calm, goofy joy. So if you’ve been dreaming of a big-headed, soft-hearted, nap-loving, people-adoring, kid-snuggling, dog-tolerating, cat-respecting queen to rule your heart, Lady Rose is your gal!! Story
PUMPKIN IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!    Pumpkin is a big, beautiful Mastiff mix who is about one year old and weighs around 115 pounds. She’s a loving, playful girl who enjoys treats and spending time outside. Pumpkin can be a little shy at first, so her adopters will need to be patient and give her time to feel comfortable. Once she warms up, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. She is crate trained and housebroken, and she walks well on a leash. Pumpkin enjoys walks around the neighborhood and trips to the park. After a day of fun, she’s happiest snuggling on the couch with her people. Despite her big size, Pumpkin is calm, quiet, and gentle — the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and loving friend. She is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Pumpkin up north to her new family. You can apply to adopt her today!     If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Pumpkin here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Rufio is a gentle soul. He is a little shy and more on the quiet side. He does good with other dogs, even small ones.I just can’t say enough sweet things about this pup. It takes a little while for him to trust new people, but once he does, his goofy and sweet personality shines!Rufio is medium energy and would do great with any family with a little patience. Rufio is not completely potty trained. He still marks in the house but is working on that.Located in Houston, Tx. Transport to most states available for an additional fee of $300.
