Story
Meet Santi! 3 yrs | 90 Ib Mastiff mix Saved from a NY shelter with high euthanasia rates, Santi was given a second chance-and now he's waiting for his person. He is cautious with new people and needs slow, respectful introductions. He'd adjust fastest with a single dedicated adopter, although he does learn to love multiple adults. An adult-only household would be best. He loves playful dogs, tasty snacks, and long naps on the couch. He is very affectionate and thinks he's a 5 lb lap dog, LOL! He enjoys going for walks and is always excited to go for a ride in the car. He doesn't need a busy life, just love, patience, structure, and someone willing to earn his trust. He spent over a month at Keep Them Wagging Training Facility in Norwalk, CT, where he learned valuable skills, and continued work with them would help facilitate a strong bond between Santi and his new family. Santi is currently staying in a foster home in Connecticut. Please reach out to his foster mom, Amanda, with any inquiries. (203) 243-0053. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Tanner is a handsome boy! He loves to take walks and lean into you for pets. He is a great car rider and really doesn't care where you are headed - he just wants to go along. He gets along with other dogs, but doesn't actually need a canine companion. He is not all that playful. He would love to be doted on and receive all of your attention. He is a pretty low maintenance dog with a good attitude. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Tanner's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, his adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions).Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. PUMPKIN IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!    Pumpkin is a big, beautiful Mastiff mix who is about one year old and weighs around 115 pounds. She’s a loving, playful girl who enjoys treats and spending time outside. Pumpkin can be a little shy at first, so her adopters will need to be patient and give her time to feel comfortable. Once she warms up, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. She is crate trained and housebroken, and she walks well on a leash. Pumpkin enjoys walks around the neighborhood and trips to the park. After a day of fun, she’s happiest snuggling on the couch with her people. Despite her big size, Pumpkin is calm, quiet, and gentle — the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and loving friend. She is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Pumpkin up north to her new family. You can apply to adopt her today!     If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Pumpkin here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Bones is a big girl with an even bigger heart. Weighing in at around 100 pounds, she may not realize her size—once she trusts you, she’ll happily climb into your lap or wrap you up in a big hug, showering you with sweet chin kisses. She can be shy at first and takes a little time to warm up, but once she does, her affectionate and loyal nature truly shines. Bones is housebroken and well-mannered in the home. She does well around cats, often choosing to ignore them, but she would do best as the only dog so she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves.Loud noises and thunderstorms can be scary for her, so she’ll need a patient, understanding home where she feels safe and secure.Bones is being rehomed through no fault of her own after the passing of her owner. She’s ready to find a loving family who will give her the comfort, stability, and affection she craves Bones' adoption fee is $275.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Ralph the Derp! Ralph is a huge friendly, enthusiastic, uncoordinated 4-legged energetic goofball! He was rescued from “death row” at a high kill shelter, as a skinny stray with a treatable skin condition. His fur has almost completely grown in & he is now at a healthy weight. This overgrown mastiff/Cane Corso mix pup has no comprehension of his size, leaning into humans for affection or trying to ooze onto laps for cuddles. He is being trained not to jump and not to paw for attention/affection/play because he currently has 85# of mass behind those “congenial” moves. Ralph plays well with dogs of all sizes, but would do best with med-to-larger dogs due to his size & poorly curbed gusto. He hordes toys, taking them all to his chosen dog bed of the day. He likes to carry a special toy “baby” in his mouth when going out in the yard. He does need to be fed in his crate & will guard his empty food bowl from other dogs, unless he is distracted with a toy & led outdoors after meals. He is great on a leash, makes awesome grunty sounds when cuddled, enjoys baths. Ralph will make a great addition to an active family with older children. He is eager to please, food and affection oriented (although a bit stubborn at times), making him an ideal candidate for success with continuation of his training. Please consider adopting the gorgeous big derp into your home. Attributes: In training to avoid jumping/pawing Active family He is neutered, microchipped, had recent cherry eye repair and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
