Story
This unbelievably gorgeous, wonderfully sweet absolute gentle giant is Zeb!! When this boy came into the pound everyone was completely awestruck and in love with him! He is absolutely huge, weighing over 100 lbs and coming in clearly thin. He was an easy going pure sweetheart from day one, always with a wagging tail, loving smile, and simple devotion to those he loves. Thankfully a wonderful foster home scooped this incredible guy right up and brought him home to give him tons of love until he can find the home of his dreams! This guy is half mastiff half Pyranees- so he’s a truly loyal country boy! He will ideally weigh probably 125 lbs or so of loving big mush! He’s quite tall and like having a little sweet pony around. He is about 28 months old and is an older all mellow mush but is happy to be by your side with anything you’d like to do with him, true to breeds! He has been to the vets and has now had all medical work completed! He is now current on vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing, and preventative and he has been microchipped and neutered! He’s absolutely glorious and ready to find his forever home! He has the quintessential Pyranees personality of just a big loving marshmallow, and the attentive, devoted brilliance and deep bond of a mastiff. He has been great with other dogs and will be good with other easy going dogs or as an only dog. He’s from the country and is definitely a country boy, looking for relaxed easy going, super loyal country parents! He happily follows his humans around outside and loves to have a big yard to relax in, enjoying the breeze and the peace of nature. He loves a porch or deck where he can lay out and relax. When someone stops by he’ll let out a relaxed woof to let everyone know there is a visitor! He is a super lover with people and enjoys any chance he gets to snuggle up on the sofa or cuddle in bed and enjoy how great it feels to be loved! He’s and his foster parents love to take him places whether Home Depot, the bank, you name it! He greets all with a smile and a tail wag, and is so grateful to soak up the good life! He is great reliably going potty outside and is such a true joy to have. He will thrive in a home where he’s got a yard or some land to enjoy and with people easy going like him, who are looking for a devoted peaceful companion. This gorgeous boy is truly a big mush, the definition of gentle giant! He can’t wait to find wonderful new parents whom he can adore and a home he can cherish for life. He’s a true blue committed guy, and will thrive with parents just like him! If you’ve fallen in love with this handsome prince of a pup and would love to welcome him home, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!

Story
Welcome Pocket to CCPAL Rescue. Pocket is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Pocket is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Pocket would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. She would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Pocket’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. She should be 60 pounds full grown. She likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. She will go on a potty pad. She is good with other dogs bigger than herself. Her dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. She is energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. She has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. She has shorter hair a little more like the DOGO dad. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. She is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for her forever home soon. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Sweet BeBe is about 2 years old and 92 lbs of pure love and sweetness!! I don't know if girl doggies can be described as "gentle giants", but if they can, that fits this girl perfectly! BeBe doesn't get in a hurry or overly excited about too much, making her a perfect fit for any type of laid back, easy going home/family. She likes leisurely walks and LOTS of snuggles. She is 100% perfection on leash and rides very nice in the car. She enjoys playing with other pups and is very mannerly and sweet meeting new human friends. She's been around all sorts of kitties and barely acknowledges them. We're not sure of BeBe's background before coming to us. She wandered up to a home that was kind enough to take her in while she birthed and raised her 11 babies. The babies are now all gone and it's BeBe's turn to start her own life with her very own family. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion, apply to adopt BeBe today at www.cprdogs.com. You will never regret adding this love to your life! BeBe is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and will be fully treated prior to leaving our care. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Wendell! 💛 Wendell is a 6-year-old Mastiff mix with a heart as big as his 75-pound frame! This gentle giant was taken in as a stray at just 7 months old and has spent the last several years living peacefully in a home with 15 other dogs of all ages and sizes. He’s truly a pack-friendly boy who gets along with everyone. Unfortunately, his owner had to downsize her dog family, so Wendell came to us. From the moment we met him, it was clear—this boy is pure love! 🥰 He’s chill, affectionate, housebroken, and oh-so-sweet. Wendell absolutely aced his temperament test and showed us just how easygoing and wonderful he is. If you’re looking for a loyal, laid-back companion who will fit right in with your family, Wendell is your guy! This handsome hunk of love is ready to give his heart to a forever home. 🐾 Housebroken 🐾 Dog-friendly with all shapes and sizes 🐾 Big, gentle, and so loving 🐾 Perfect family dog
